Blue Ridge Buffet

One of the nastiest buffets I have ever been to the guy with the long blonde hair was so rude thank god I didn’t have to pay for it or else I would have killed myself absolutely the most disgusting buffet one hour of my life I can never get back

I will make this short and simple. Do not eat the Buffet. The worst tasting food, no season no flavor. You might get something good from the menu.

Terrible breakfast buffet. Watery eggs and cheap cheap cheap everything. Drive somewhere else.

Terrible. The food was very plain and the variety was not that good. The ice cream machine was broken and even though they had ice cream in the kitchen area many servers simply walked past those waiting at the ice cream machine without offering to get the customers some. We finally told the customers to ask someone for ice cream. And they still had to wait forever for someone to help them

Just took a look at the buffet. Not much variety as a buffet. Just the bare minimum. Didn’t even look appetizing enough to eat there so we didn’t.

We chose to eat here on the recommendation of the staff at the main building. We went over the menu and decided we would try it out after our long hiking day.
When we arrived they were confused as to where to seat us. There were plenty of free tables but we had to wait while another table in a different section was cleared. Once we finally sat down we were told we had to way for our server and couldn’t just head straight for the buffet. We were starving, so the waiting time for the server was amplified X10. Eventually the server came over and we headed over to the buffet.
The food was bad, not terrible but bad. Pretty much everything I tried was below what I expected, and the 3 others in my party agreed. They are clearly going for quantity over quality, which is understandable considering the large number of people eating there, but still no excuse for the bad food.
We will never return or recommend, should have read the past reviews before heading over. Waste of money!

Buffet was good. It got hotter and fresher closer to meal times. However the pasta bar was outstanding! If you love fresh made, while you wait pasta, avoid the buffet food altogether. This chef rocked! I’ll come back just for the pasta bar!

Not good, cold food, dirty plates. Very disappointed for a $ 12.95 buffet! On a Friday night the food was cold, sitting in the trays, carrots looked gross, mashed potatoes were hard, gravy cold, meat balls cold. Dirty plates one after another and the one had a bug on it. The salad bar was small with very little choices and the ranch dressing had a bad taste to it. Dessert area was a joke. I am not sure how they get the price. Should have drove 20 minutes to get a good meal at the Wood Grill in Harrisonburg but already ate there twice this week. I should have complained to the waitress but she could tell how I thought it was by the food that was still on the plate when she took it away. It’s really bad to waste that much food. The sweet tea and the rolls were good and they have the cinnamon butter. Watching the kids play in the waterpark kept us entertained.

The food was not good, wasn’t fresh, either very salty or no flavor at all. Below average customer service, rude staffs, the patrons there are classless loud, smelly, entitled and rude. I think you get the picture of who those people are. Definitely not worth $ 14 a person at all. Never coming back.

I was very disappointed in the place. The food was not good. They did not clean up the food area so it looked very messy. We had a great time at the resort and thought it was a nice, clean resort. This restaurant did not fit the rest of the resort.

Horrible. We tried the buffet a few years ago and hated it but decided to try again tonight because one, we were exhausted after the water park and had 3 tired and hungry boys and two, there was a sign saying «new homemade food». Figured it might be better. We were wrong. EVERYTHING was gross. There was a «vegetable medley» with summer squash and zuchinni. It was covered in Teryaki sauce! Who puts teryaki sauce on squash? I ended up ordering off the menu because i needed something to eat. I got a buffalo chicken sandwhich. It was just OK. The fries were soggy. Your best bet is to go either into town to one of the buffets there (Golden Corral or Wood Grill) or out towards Elkton for the Italian place (can’t remember name right now).
