my husband and his brother eat here every sunday… they love it. I have gone with them on occasion, cant believe how fast they make the food. love benedicts… all of them. menu is so big its hard to choose. they aim to please… if your unhappy tell the server. all the girls are nice and efficient.

Crepes with ham, swiss and hollandaise… sounds delicious right? Not here. The crêpe was sweet, the sauce sour and the ham icy cold. I’ve should’ve expected from place with plaster samples of their meals at the front of the house, where one register and unfriendly hostess complete the experience.

I come here at least once a week and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and creative and the service excellent no matter how busy they are. On weekends if you get there after 9am you’ll have to wait.

Great breakfast every time. Order the stuffed potato pancakes. You can’t go wrong.

I come here at least once a month, the place is clean and they have a friendly staff. Sometimes there’s a wait for a table but worth it. Very affordable and big portions. Something on the menu for everyone.

This is hands down the best breakfast spot around! Fast service, big portions, delicious food and all very reasonably priced! My family and I love going here on the weekends! We haven’t found anything that beats the Brunch Café!

BEST BRUNCH IN MCHENRY COUNTY!!! I eat here like two times a week. Excluding Sunday mornings, we never have to wait to be seated which is awesome. The food is so quick to be served and is always amazing. The regular pot coffee is so-​so. The waitresses are very nice and experienced. This place is a «must!»

We have eaten here probably twenty times. It is our go to breakfast place. The good is delicious. The service is awesome. You can expect a wait series with Sunday church times but it’s well worth it.

Got the south beach egg scrambler and it was fantastic. One of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to and I consider myself an avid breakfast food fan. One down side is they do not serve hash browns, but breakfast potatoes were a superb substitute. Definitely would come back.

I called at 11am and got my name down for 12pm. We were able to get a table within 5 min of arriving.
I got the brunch burger with rye bread. Should have just gotten it without the bread– the bread was thicker than my hubby’s toast. Anyway I removed the bread and still did not enjoy my burger. I was dipping it in ketchup because it was so tasteless. The fries were skinny and crunchy and I wasn’t a fan.
However, the other 3 in my party enjoyed their meals! My hubby got the special prime rib and eggs with toast and fruit. He enjoyed it!
The waitress was really nice! I guess the lesson here is don’t get a lunch food at a breakfast place. I ordered the wrong item.

Fresh food and great service! !! I am a vegetarian, so this has some good veggie options as well.

Can’t beat this place for breakfast or lunch! Food is top quality and fresh! Have never had a bad experience and have been going once a week for several years. Staff are always pleasant and attentive! Luckily it’s close to my house but I would travel for their delicious and fresh food! You will not be disappointed!

I expected a long wait, it was Saturday morning after all. Surprisingly our trio was seated immediately (1015 Saturday morning – score!). But when we left about an hour later, there were many groups waiting to be seated.
The menu lists a lot of different options whether you want to go sweet or savory or both for breakfast/​brunch. Pancakes, crepes, french toast, waffles, eggs, omelets, scrambles… lots to choose from. And they serve fresh juice and mimosas!
I opted for the South Beach Scramble – eggs, bacon, spinach, avocado and monterrey jack cheese. I subbed the potatoes for fresh fruit and got the Greek toast. This was a very hearty serving and along with a bottomless cup of coffee, made for a very nice meal.
My breakfast companion’s meals looked really good too. Service was nice… it was busy so not a lot of time for niceties, but our coffee mugs or water glasses never went empty and requests, like for hot sauce was met promptly.
I like their Roselle location and I’m just as satisfied with this location.
Tip: Great place to stop and fortify yourself before a day of shopping at the Volo Antique Mall!

Breakfast is outstanding and good service. The stuffed waffle is to die for. It’s crispy and light and the strawberry & banana filling is not too sweet. The potato pancakes were good too, kind of creamy. Their lunch specials were out when we left and those looked really good too. Lots of unique and tasty items at really reasonable prices.

It’s hard to believe that I haven’t left a review for Brunch yet. Prior to moving up to Illinois, it was a must that we eat at Brunch Café a time or two when here on vacation.
Brunch is a small little Café that can be hard to find if you don’t know where to look. But when you’ve found it, you’ll quickly realize that it’s a wonderful little slice of breakfast heaven. I’m not entirely sure why you’d order anything outside of breakfast here. Don’t waste the opportunity that you’ve already presented your taste buds.
If I had to define the establishment in one term, I’d use the word: Fresh. Everything tastes so fresh. The fruit trays. The orange juice. Even the meat and potato skillets taste ever so fresh. Speaking of the meat and potato skillet, that’s my recommendation every time. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a lot of different food items here and I loved every one of them. So you can’t really do wrong, regardless of what you order. But their skillets are the best that I’ve ever had.
It’s a little pricier than your typical breakfast spot but I’d be hard pressed to say that I’ve ever visited a restaurant that gives you the bang for your buck that you get with brunch. I never leave hungry and I never leave disappointed. If you’re looking for a wonderful morning pick-​me-​up, this is THE place to go.

Super yummy! Boyfriend and I came here as our «try someplace new» dine out. Score! Food is fabulous with great flavors, textures, and piping hot. The service is quick, friendly, and honest. Ambiance is casual and comfortable. They display their specials for the day, making them extra tempting. The cost is on the low end of the $$ spectrum making this place an excellent value for a higher end quality meal experience.
We’ll definitely be eating here again; and soon!
