My Valentine and I decided to try the special meal being offered at Plum Garden. The $ 60 price included 2 glasses of sparkling wine(it was a very cheap brand) — an appetizer plate which included two of their famous egg rolls(which were unusually terrible — filled with cabbage only and was very bland) — 2 entrees(the beef in the Double Dragon was dry and chewy the Bok Choy was cold — the chicken was dry) — sugared donuts with a Hershey’s syrup dipping sauce. The waiter seemed fairly disinterested — he was slouchy and needed to lean against the booth to hold himself up. This had always been a favorite place — we won’t be back.

I went to Plum Garden a few days ago for the first time in about two years. I had a bad experience so I told myself I would never go again and here I am. The food definitely has gone downhill I have been eating plum garden since I was a kid and I am 45 now. It’s definitely not worth the price.

My third trip for lunch her with a customer. I had chicken and cashews. I asked for a spice level of 10. It was wonderful great ingredients with a large quantity of food. The shrimp start was very good. The egg roll that came with the meal teased great and it was huge. I eat every think except the fried rice. I ‘t need to touch the rice«extender» because everything else was fantastic! I eat a lot of Asian food with experience in China, Singapore, England, France and all around the US. My daughter Jaime Demsey is an Asian TV star on The History Channel. This place is one of the good places.

We’ve finally found an awesome American-Chinese restaurant in our neck of the woods! Awesome food that isn’t greasy, friendly service, and one hell of a Mai-Tai will keep us coming back for a fix.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever experienced. I’m going to call it «upscale Chinese». The restaurant is very clean and tastefully decorated. They use high quality cuts of meat. On a recent visit I ordered Hong Kong Chicken. It is a whole chicken breast lightly breaded in their homemade batter. It is served on a bed of vegetables along with rice and an egg roll. The chicken was delicious! They make their own egg rolls every morning, and they are excellent. The owner is very friendly, and stopped over several times to chat and to assist the wait staff. The wait staff was top notch. This has to be one of the best Chinese Restaurants in all of Chicagoland.

I love their crab Rangoon and egg rolls, not a typical Chinese restaurant. Friendly staff, a nice place and clean.

Best Egg Rolls EVER! They make these from scratch and I would go there and order a plate full. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Perfect spot for Valentines day, they have a special meal every year and my wife loves it too!
