TLC Tan

Disgusted!!! Bought month membership on whim. Notttt from this area recently moved here it was close… Soo I got shocked twice!!! Nvr in my life of tanning have I been shocked!!! So called acrylic is not even sealed to bed and taped in some places. Very upset waiting to get my money back. There is no possible let way this place is even lose to being up to code. It’s been there since 90s I hear… And it is obvious upon my 10 minute tan and after I asked to see if all rooms were same beds… Yuk. Just yuk. Can’t believe they get away with being open!

The place is old, dark and run down… but it’s in McKeesport so it fits right in.
It is true you have to clean your bed before and after use. For a $ 6 tan you are getting what you paid for.
With that said, the beds were old but ok. Good bulbs and a good end product.

No… just… NO!
I was looking for a spot to cater to my Winter Skin Blues and so gave this one a shot because its fairly local and has been there since the 90’s!
Situated in the corner of Olympia Shopping Center (near H&R Block), I was really hoping that this one would be a winner!
I went in and the girl at the counter kinda rubbed me the wrong way when she took me to a room (after I paid for a single tan) and said, «You clean the beds. We don’t do it anymore. Here’s the stuff (points to the spray) and there’s always towels. You need to clean the bed when you get in and when you get out because we don’t do it.»
Um… W T F ?
Really??!
I was sure that I was leaving with scabies or something! lol
So, she leaves and I go to turn the light on in the room because I felt that it was far too dim to properly sanitize the bed that I needed to clean myself. O_​o
As it turns out… that dim room was as bright as it was ever going to be! There was no light switch!
I was definitely not impressed.
Bulbs weren’t overly hot, nor were they weak – that was just fine, but I left feeling like it was outdated (no standup beds), a little dirty, and in need of nicer staff :(
I was truly bummed out!
