This is a nice place to walk around. But my family and I were casually looking at condos, and the salesperson who showed us the model didn’t know that property tax is calculated from the property value and a property tax rate that varies from city to city. She estimated that the tax on a $ 500K condo (ballpark) would be about $ 5000. She also didn’t know that the property tax rate in California is closer to 1%, whereas in DFW it’s closer to 3%. That was a surprise, considering she’s a salesperson in a market with a huge number of people relocating from other states, such as CA.
Their smaller single family homes are so close together, I can only imagine how little natural light reaches most of the interior space.

We love the eateries in Adriatica. Eating at Cavali’s, Harry’s on the Harbor, or Zin Zen are all places for a fun night out with tasty fare. The parking is usually ample and of course since these establishments are small there is normally a wait on the weekend.
