I had a very negative experience here. I went in with a Groupon for«Haircut with shampoo, deep-conditioning, style, and full highlights» and left with an allover hideous color. I expressed concern during my appointment because the stylist did not use the usual foil methods I am used to and was clearly doing allover color rather than highlights, but I was assured she was putting in an allover color to make the highlights bold and vibrant. Although I asked to have only highlights on my natural color, I thought«Sure, why not? She’s the pro.» I expressed concern again once I saw the orangeish color on my wet hair after washing, and again once it had been dried. I should have stopped the process as soon as allover color was being put on, but I wanted to have trust in the hands I was in. At the end of the appointment, the stylist said I was probably shocked by the color because it was new for me and offered to change it if I sat on it for a few days and still couldn’t adjust to it. Although I appreciate that offer, I was unwilling to go back to a stylist who let me walk out of her salon with nearly orange hair when all I wanted to begin with was highlights. I ended up going to a different salon to fix the color. It was a long process and the stylist was shocked, but it was good to know I was not the only one who thought the color was terrible. Overall the stylist was very friendly. The salon was very small with one chair and washing station. Their online appointment system is very easy and convenient and their website is easy to navigate. I am sure there are other customers that walk out with a better experience, I just wasn’t one of them.
