I hired him to install 4 ceiling fans and 1 sconce lights. Since the house was prewired I figured $ 30/​hr was reasonable and may pay $ 210 since again prewired. Boy was I wrong. It took him 13 hours over 2 days to complete the work. After the first day, or 6 hours of work I only had one ceiling fan to show for it. So essentially I paid him $ 180 to install one ceiling fan that day. Note that again the house was prewired and all the same fans. Shame on me for letting him come back the second day to complete the job, but I did. I now have to redo a fan in media room because not level with ceiling, the one on porch has huge gaps and holes left in ceiling and one in office is on one switch despite being wired for two switches. He also did not clean up his mess from putting in fans, and drywall on floor, etc was impossible to miss. Very nice man, but works way too slow to pay by the hour and also work not up to par or completed cleanly. Wish I could give a better review after spending $ 400 to install 4 fans
