Wow for a quick great burrito/ice cream meal a step above fast food — this is about as good as it gets. The family LOVES this place. First, the food is terrific. The marinated pork is amazing on the burritos or bowls. Everything is great. But finally, the ice cream. We have friends/family that come from another STATE to eat this ice cream. It’s home made and to die for. The triple chocolate haunts my dreams… Do you get it yet? We reaaally like this place. If I have anything negative at all to say(the ONLY reason it’s not 5 stars) is that sometimes the food handlers can be pretty rude to the customers. And one time they had a buy-1-pint-of –ice-cream, get-one-free texted coupon. When we came in for that deal, we were treated like«are you sure they haven’t already gotten one? Put it in the register and make sure.» And when they saw we were legitimate, the guy(manager?) walked off rudely without a smile or an apology or anything… Seemed like he really wasn’t happy about giving out that extra free pint of ice cream. My wife and I felt like criminals for a second. It gave us a laugh later, but really– if you don’t want people to take advantage of the texted coupon, don’t give out the coupons. And when people come to redeem it, make them feel like valued customers — not grifters. It almost made us feel embarrassed that we were trying to redeem the coupon. Anyway, all that aside. Great place to check out!

I don’t know how I feel about this place anymore. It’s been a huge roller coaster to deception. Lately the food has gone downhill. I used to be a regular customer, I loved Nom Noms but now its just plain old fast food junk. The salsas are bland and tasteless, they taste like watered down tomato juice. The meat is rubbery and fatty, disgusting! You can feel the fat stick to the roof of your mouth. Not to mention the rice, which isn’t ever cooked right, it all sticks together in big clumps. The vegetables are drowning in oil and grease. The ground beef is swimming in a pool of grease. I’m not sure if it’s grease in the meat, or meat in the grease. Seriously that meat is disgusting. Just thinking about it makes my stomach turn. The chicken is either always burned like charcoal or so raw that it could fly away! There is no perfect In between. I’m seriously disappointed. The shredded chicken has no flavor. what’s up with that? Any way I’m not sure if I can rant more about the food, so let’s go ahead and talk about the team and service of this restaurant. There’s was a really bitchy employee on the cash register on I believe was Tuesday not sure. she barely even looked me in the face when taking care of me. Hey it’s not my fault she hates her job, this grouchy Hispanic old lady was such a bastard with me. If this menopausal woman doesn’t like her job then quit, but she doesn’t have to take it out on her loyal customers. The employees take no sanitary precautions, I saw this blonde guy sneeze into his gloves and didn’t bother on changing them. Often when I go during lunch the lobby is a mess, the tables are dirty, floors cover in trash, trash an filled to the top. Can it at least be a little bit cleaner? So yeah, This place is no longer worth my time or money. I am never coming back.

Décor: 5⁄5 –Large windows facing the sun brighten up the place –Plenty of booths and tables that can seat large parties Service: 5⁄5 –Very friendly –It’s a create your own type of place, think Chipotle Food: 5⁄5 –I got their burrito bowl with both rice and beans, pork marinated in tomatillo sauce. It was not spicy(mild) at all and the pork was slow cooked until tender. The homemade mango salsa was great. I like how cilantro is a topping itself. –Their guac is $ 1.40 extra, more ‘affordable’ compared to Chipotle’s $ 1.95 asking price. –The starting price is around $ 6.65 for chicken upwards to $ 6.95 for steak and pork.
