Ritz On The Square

The Ritz is the best salon. I love coming here. My hair is always on point. I get compliments on the style all the time. It is relaxing being in a private suite. It makes it easy to communicate what you want. Kari does a great job every time!

I went to Kari Epperson at The Ritz. Very professional, she listened to my wants and needs concerning my hair. She coloured, treated, cut and full blow out for under two hours. Results? Fabulous. I love her, and her style… Highly recommend her.

What a find! After searching for too long and having mediocre hair, I finally found a stylist. I have super thick, long hair and Kari nailed it. My color and cut were better than what I asked for. I was a bit indecisive on the style and she knew exactly what would compliment my face. The chi-​tea and ambiance of this place made me feel right at home. The drive from Denton is definitely worth it.

Went to this salon to see Kari because she got good reviews. We spoke about what I wanted before the appt on the phone and I asked if she could do really good blonde highlights and lowlights. She said yes. After I sat there for 3 hours she took the towel off my head and I ended up with bleach blonde hair with bright orange patches! Sound appealing? Never once did she say she was sorry. but she wanted to fix it. After she put toner on it for like the 3^rd time I ended up with ash blonde hair and no highlights because I ended up leaving with a soaking wet head. Who has time to be at the salon for over 3 hours for a partial highlight that was completely screwed up? And would you want the person that completely messed it up to be the one fixing it? At one point in the visit I even told her she was making me nervous and that was even before I saw what a mess she made! So if you like to gamble with your hair– she’s your girl! If you want a professional doing your hair– GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I moved to the area 3 yrs back and have tried many stylist. I started seeing Kari Epperson 1 yr back and have been very happy with her work! My color is always seamless with highlights and lowlights and the cuts are perfection! She is flexible as I work and have to schedule evening appointments and need in every 3 – 4 weeks for roots. I go to Kelly Shehee and just love her skills. I come in for color and cut every 5 weeks or so and she works her magic! She is friendly, knowledgable on hair color, cuts and hair products! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Love this salon and I have the best stylist! Amber Gallegos is amazing! I have had frizzy hair all of my life and she did a keratin style treatment and layers and I feel like a new person! She chose a treatment that is safe and looked into the product before using it. She is fun and friendly. Love this salon!

My girl, Cindy, did a WONDERFUL job!!! I will be a regular customer! Great service and friendly faces! Cindy has her own cutting booth so it’s peaceful and quiet while enjoying your cut.
I get a color and cut every time, and she does the best color I have ever had! Seriously I get a mixture of low lights and highlights and Cindy mixes thermal evenly my hair looks completely natural!
She gives a fabulous cut and style too, it’s hard to find someone to shape around the face well and Cindy is great!
