On my last to-go order, I paid for a bag of chips along with my bowl. when I opened the bag, the bag of chip I paid for was missing. So today, I asked the cashier about it and they were acting like I am trying to get a chip for free! I didn’t have the receipt to present. But does it really matter? How would they prove that they forgot items I paid for anyway? I could easily be lying right? But I still want to mention it anyway. I don’t care about a bag of chips but after the way they were treating me? Yes I care about my bag of chips. They certainly don’t do a good of giving you what you paid for, and they don’t do a good job of tuning into customers complaints. Ended up walking out feeling like I am the weird one! Always check what you order before you leave the store!

Worse chipotle experience EVER! The ladies serving the food were helpful and nice enough to put our order together in the way we asked but the girl at the register, Jingjing(her name), was extremely RUDE and instead of explaining why she was charging us more for the kids food and not giving us chips and drinks that usually come with the meal, she started yelling and telling us that if we wanted them we had to pay extra. She has no idea how to treat a costumer and the management should train her better if they want her to work there. She has absolutely NO customer service skills. And to top it off the food was not even good for chipotle standards. Definitely NEVER going back to this chipotle(Tyron’s corner location).

I ordered the veggie bowl and they are very stingy with the portions… they give you a spoon of rice and spread it around trying to make it look like you have a decent portion, half a spoon of beans’ tomatoes, peppers… GOTDAMN! Can I have MORE rice! More Beans! More matoes! More Peppers! GEESH! You would have thought they were trying to save the food for themselves.

Wanted a quesadilla for lunch. What I got was cold cheese on a lukewarm tortilla. Didn’t discovery the mistake until I got back to the office. Just wish they had cooked it. :(

Do people actually read Unilocal reviews when it comes to Chipotle? I doubt it. 3 stars and horrible stories, and the lines are longer than at Best Buy during Black Friday. I like Chipotle but this location is HORRIBLE! PLEASE stop being so stingy with your portions, as time goes by your portions get smaller, and your prices go up! I mean, OK inflation and all I understand but this is way too much. None of the other restaurants are doing this, at least not the ones I go to. And let me tell you, your employees are so rude. Ok, about the food, the chicken quality has gone wayyyy down and whatever that steak is tastes like turkey to me. I don’t agree with cheating your customers, and I know steak when I taste steak. There are much better options in Tyson’s Corner. Bye Chipotle!

(Be forewarned that this review will be on the lengthy side.) I’m usually a little hesitant about Chipotle in general, on account of the enormous variation you will find in serving portions. Sometimes, you hit the jackpot. Other times, they will give you 4 or 5 pieces of meat and call it a meal, and maybe grudgingly add another minuscule piece if you nag especially hard. This location is more along the lines of the latter, but I wish that was the only issue. I have been here twice, and do not plan to return. The first time, the registers were apparently broken and credit cards were not being accepted. It took maybe 20 minutes for one employee to take initiative and start accepting cash payments with manual accounting, while the line continued to grow. The employees working the lines just gave off an incredible aura of general indifference and doing things willy-nilly. Portion sizes were sub-optimal; eh, I’ve seen worse but I can live with it. Then it gets to actually wrapping the burrito, which none of the employees seem to have properly learned. Usually not a problem, I’m not the pickiest when it comes to clean eating. However, when 2 or 3 big chunks of meat roll out(along with some beans, veggies, etc) and your reaction is to simply brush them into the trash without bothering to even try rolling them back into the burrito, well, that’s where the problem arises. So all in all, a very underwhelming experience from a chain I already don’t expect much from. But, as my girlfriend put it, maybe they just happened to have their… let’s say«backup» employees working that day. Unlucky timing, nothing to say they don’t deserve another try. I returned tonight to grab a quick meal for myself and a friend, to my immense regret. I ordered a burrito and a bowl. When I asked for chicken, the employee placed a few miserable scraps onto the burrito. I was literally shocked; when I say I only got 4 or 5 pieces of meat I am not exaggerating. A marginally greater amount went into my friend’s bowl. It’s worth noting that the person in front of me in line asked politely for more fajitas, at which point the employee placed ONE pepper(I kid you not, one additional pepper) into her bowl. The customer said ‚“No, really… can I have more fajitas?” and was brushed off. Taking the cue, I didn’t even bother asking for more meat, though I did start entertaining thoughts of walking out. Hunger won over and I thought at least I could ask for an extra tortilla, which they provide free of charge. I must have asked three different employees, all of whom acknowledged my request and promptly forgot about it as soon as we broke eye contact. I also asked for guacamole on the side for my friend’s bowl, which was again acknowledged and then completely ignored. Normally there will be one person handling the rice, beans and meat, and another handling the veggies/toppings. Here, strangely there were three employees rotating through, each of which seemed to want to help everyone at every step, which I’m sure accounts for the fact that nobody actually ended up providing my extra tortilla or guacamole. Very disorganized. The person wrapping my burrito again probably needs to be sent back to training, but hey, silver lining, there was so little meat that none of it could possibly spill out this time. At the cash register, I again requested the tortilla and guacamole. The cashier yelled for them at large, eventually stuffing everything into my bag and assuring me my order was all there. I made the terrible mistake of believing him after having inquired so many times, and did not check the bag until I was already gone. The tortilla was indeed there, the guacamole nowhere to be found. Fancy that. Not to beat on a dead horse, but I feel like I only actually tasted chicken twice while eating my burrito. Management really needs to put their employees through boot camp. This level of carelessness, indifference and outright stinginess is not acceptable. This Chipotle is in a prime location with tons of traffic and really needs to straighten itself out before I entertain the thought of coming back.

I had the displeasure of visiting this Chipotle today. The cashier could not have been more rude. Prior to ringing up my order, she made several remarks about my weight, asking if I was pregnant and then commenting on my «pudgy belly». I was shocked and mortified, as everyone in line heard this exchange. This is certainly not the type of customer service I would expect from a company like Chipotle.

First of all, go here at night. Do NOT go during the day. Big mistake. The chipotle is like other chipotles. I have been to better chipotle’s than this one though.

I love going here while I am shopping. The restaurant is clean. I love the chips and guacamole. There are so many options. You can add as many or little toppings that you want on a salad, burrito or taco. The sofritas are awesome!

I usually get their vegetarian burrito, but today they’re having the special, get 1 meal with safritas(tofu) and you will get a free meal of your choice the next time you come(from tomorrow to Feb 28th). I still like the vegetarian one better, the safritas is ok, a bit too wet, making my burrito all soggy: p Usually the lines are very long but since I came around 2pm it wasn’t too bad :)

Absolutely horrible! This chipotle is horrible! Soda fountain area and restroom was not clean. They were out of brown rice and although someone was wiping the excess food out of the way, the food area had too much food on the counters, floors, etc. all the trash cans overflowed. When I say the bathroom dirty, it was nasty… we had to leave the restaurant and walk over to the mall to go to the restroom.

Slow service. Bad attitude.. are they a REAL Chipotle? Long lines… too many people doing things other than food prep. I think someone from corporate needs to visit. This could be a MONEYMAKER if it moved you through! Two people on line and PACKED!

I love Chipotle but service here sucked. I typically went to the one near Potomac mills mall so maybe I just wanted the same level of service but the one here is definitely a disappointment. I got a bow and they gave me so little meat I asked for more and they gave me literally 2 pieces of meat. Asked again and they ignored. Then asked the next person putting salsa and stuff on my bowl for more meat… again 2 pieces. GAHHH!!! so frustrating. finally I just gave up and finished going through. two other things that bothered me… 1: no lime… only lemon and apparently it is the norm at that location… 2: guacamole was turning greyish color from being out a while… eeek that is the first… and I doubt I’ll be going back to this particular location.

It’s Chipotle. I’m paleo. You wan’t double meat? Sure, I’ll give you one serving’s worth. That’s an extra 2.35. Guac? Sure, have a teaspoon, but lemme charge you 1.95. Luckily, I was at Pride this year and they gave a buy one get one free coupon away. Not tasty, but did the trick.

This location is absolutely pathetic. It didn’t bother me the first, second or even third time that the service was horrible here but literally every time in the last year that I’ve come in here it has managed to turn into a 15 minute debacle that usually ends with a cold burrito bowl that’s missing half the shit I wanted in it. I’ve worked in the restaurant business and I’ve never seen such a flagrant disregard for customer service. The management doesn’t care ATALL what goes on in here and will sit idly by and watch as their employees struggle. If you must get food from here, place your order online and pick it up just so you can minimize the time you spend dealing with this sorry excuse for a restaurant.

7÷20÷2012 Located and connected on the outside of Tyson’s 1 in between the building of Tyson’s 1 and the Parking garage. This place needs more space. But I don’t eat at these types of establishments but I found the setting to be a little crowded with a line of folks. The service was quick even with a long line. They kind of rushed my order although i got everything I wanted I couldnt keep up with how fast they were asking me of what I wanted. All in All its Chipolte expect what you’ve always expect. Except they sell margaritas and beer… Hmmm. perhaps after work one day. But the 7 bucks for my bowl was great and very filling. Second time was a charm and sure to be back

how do you not have guacamole? … apparently this location doesn’t serve guacamole … not only that, but they screwed up the orders. I clearly asked for steak & was given chicken. I went back & they corrected the order, only problem was that they«ran out of lettuce» … it’s only 8pm & they close at 10pm, & they running out of ingredients. the rice the brought out is watery. Not to mention there aren’t that many people here, compared to other locations. really disappointed!

This is by far the BEST chipotle location in northern VA. Trust me, I have been to just about all of their locations in the area because my BF and 5 siblings would it Chipotle every single day if I allowed it :) The food quality is consistently delicious here and trust me when I say this is not typical of all Chipotle locations. I took off one star because as much as I love the food quality, I dread the long lines and having to park in the mall to satisfy my craving.

Chipolte is probably one of my most favorite«fast» foods. This location is not the best. It has an outside entrance to the mall. It does has outdoor seating which is a plus, be I went on a rainy night so it really didn’t even matter to me. Service is slow and not the best. They were out of chips. When I asked how long it would be before they were done they said 10 – 15 minutes. I told them never mind. I don’t think I have ever been to a Chipolte where they were out of something before. This store also felt dirty. I got mine to go… but I think I would venture to a different Chipolte before hitting this one again.
