Very helpful people. I bought a used car that had a Foreign Service reminder sticker on the windshield. I emailed them on a whim asking if they would be able to provide me with some service history on the car. I honestly didn’t expect them to be able to help, but Mike emailed me back within minutes and was a pleasure to communicate with. He emailed me a list of services that were done to the car and told me to contact him if I had any further questions. He did this full-well knowing that I probably wouldn’t ever be able to bring my car there for service(I’m about 160 miles away). This sort of kindness deserves to be commended. If they are this up-front and honest with a customer that they know will not be using their services, just imagine how they must treat their paying customers. If I ever relocate to Tyson’s Corner, I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to bring my car to Foreign Service!

I was passing through Tysons Corner and had an issue with a BMW, they were able to squeeze in an emergency repair that got me home on time to see my family after a stressful day of travel. Thanks guys!

I haven’t had service performed there yet, so I’ll update my review in a couple of weeks when I have my appt. I typically do most of the work myself on my vehicle, but some things are just not cost-effective to do, or would cause too big of a mess in the driveway. Their estimate was spot on, and they only recommended services that I would need(and I knew that I needed, so it was legit). Update: Brought my car in for my appt this morning. Had some confusion, as they couldn’t find me on the appt sheet(you need a more modern system of scheduling, guys). But, they were still able to complete the repairs as scheduled so it was a non-issue. I’ll go back for any jobs that I can’t do myself(and would recommend them for any repairs that others may have). Definitely light years ahead of BMW of Fairfax in every regard.

Took my car in for service after receiving an inflated quote from the Audi dealer. Received quick, high quality service for a fair price(which was roughly 20% below the Audi quote). I’m sold and I’ll be back!

Sometimes when you go to the car dealership for auto repairs I feel like they are genuinely ripping you off. Sometimes I feel that they are ripping me off even more because I am a girl. I drive a BMW and it is hard to find a place besides a dealership that you can trust with your car. Foreign Service pretty much fits the bill. For one, they offer a 10% discount for Freddie Mac employees. I’ll bet they offer discounts for employees of other nearby companies(i.e.: Booz, Deloitte, etc.). Mike R. is very nice and is prompt in dropping me off in the morning and picking me up from work at the end of the day to get my car. This place is in an industrial park and is as pretty basic as it gets, so unlike dealerships, don’t expect any espresso or computers to play on while your car is getting serviced. I like that its convenient to work and the staff is friendly. I’ll be sure to post a followup review once my car needs MAJOR(read: expensive) work. But for now, I’ll continue to go to Foreign Service for my regular maintenance.
