Nova Handyman

Doug came highly recommended from a friend. I contacted him to see if he could give me an estimate on various light duty work in my home. He got back to me when I asked for an estimate and he wanted to set up a time to come out. He followed up on that email asking if I’d want him to do some of the work right then if the price was fine. I told him I’d like to just do the estimate first because I knew my husband and I would have to discuss logistics about getting our dogs out of the house for a lengthier time while work was done. Well I never heard back from Doug and attempted to follow up multiple times in the subsequent weeks with no response. I think it would have been courteous and professional for him to respond to me, even if he didn’t want to do the work.

Doug was supposed to come out to give us an estimate. Originally his secretary said he could come Monday, then called back to change it to Wednesday. I left work early on Wednesday to wait for Doug, only Doug never actually showed up. I attempted to call his office/​list number 4 times but surprisingly no one picked up. Without so much as a courtsey email or phone call he completely blew off the appointment. This is in addition to the email I sent which also received no response. Judging by the previous posters experience with this handyman, I’d say look else where for consistent and reliable help.
