How do I begin to describe The Om? Founded on a balmy July afternoon, in a fit of inspiration and goodwill towards all mankind by the veritable geniuses Hector and Brian, it stands out amongst the clutter and cluster of daily non-life in Tysons. Nay, not simply as a room for tea, but Epiphany incarnate! Where men and women can sit in peace and — in fewer than 10 minutes — open themselves to an intimacy that can only be found in the sunlit corner between two desks by sharing tea, stories, and the occasional laugh. To best summarize this oasis, I am left with only the option to expand on the genius of Alexander Pushkin and say«Ecstasy is a glass full of tea…» at the Om.

I have had the distinctive pleasure of sharing freshly brewed tea at the Om. The staff was courteous and accommodating, and I felt like I was in Aspen. Robin Leach could not do justice to this lap of luxury. I wish I lived there.
