Just an update — they did end up giving me back my money after I threatened to take them to court. Never responded to any of my emails, just sent a check. I’m all about supporting small local businesses, but I will NEVER use this company again and they still don’t deserve more than one star.

They moved me in one day and did a great job. Not a single nick on any walls, nothing was broken or damaged, and they had to hoist a huge armoire up stairs and the thing barely could fit in the door, but they made it work. They also were priced competitively and compared to a friend who moved 2 weeks before me at double what I paid, I was pretty satisfied with their services. If you’re worried about the costs, you should ask up front what is included and what isnt so that there arent any surprises. I think most of the time people dont realize how much stuff you have or how long it takes to pack it. You’re much better off packing everything yourself and having them move it. They did both for me and I’m still very happy. Recommended them to a friend who used them and was also very satisfied as well.

My best friend and I were in a bind and needed to be moved within 2 days so I called around to get estimates. Each company was willing to move our stuff even though it was short notice, but this one SEEMED like it was the most affordable after doing my research, however, they ended up costing much more in the long run. I give this business only 1 star for several reasons: 1. There are hidden fees that the movers do not tell you about until you pay — the movers kept recommending that I do things such as wrap my TV and offered to do so for me and at the end of the move all of these charges were added on. These charges were stated no where in the paperwork that I signed at the beginning! 2. The movers were careless with my belongings, broke something of mine, and told me I had to pay in cash or they would charge 6% for a credit card processing fee. 3. The person working in the office did not answer any of my 15 phone calls that I gave them after the move to file a complaint. 4. After leaving a message for the customer service person they STILL have not called me back and it have been over 2 weeks since the move. How rude! I wouldn’t recommend working with this company. Overall, this was a horrible experience and I can’t believe they would be so dishonest and inattentive to their customers.
