I had my first latte this morning at Cornerstone. I have to hand it to them — the entire experience was lovely. I came in during their morning rush. Their menu is well laid out and easy to follow. The six alternative milk choices surprised me. I went with macadamia nut milk and did not regret it. Highly recommended! The espresso tasted great and the foam was spot on. I’ll be back… probably a lot.

Although there is a lot of loitering behind the coffee shop, it has a very relaxing and fun atmosphere. The employees are great and all seem happy. Their food and drinks are delicious and this has been my go to coffee shop in McMinnville for the past four five years.

The place gave off a nice vibe with a large roomy feel to it. It was fairly busy this morning with the locals and out of towers likeyself. The staff seemed rather cheerful and friendly which made the overall experience a good one. I had a large latte which came w four shots of espresso for just $ 3.50…a great deal! They had an assortment of baked goods that looked tempting(especially the muffins). Had I not just come off a full and extraordinarily good breakfast at another location(Wildwood Café… It was AWESOME), I would have ordered the muffin but I was content with just having the strong latte. Highly recommended!

Warm and friendly staff. Great, STRONG dark brewed coffee(sometimes hard to come by!), and possibly the best scone(peach-cinnamon) I’ve had – not too greasy, and not too dry – just about right! For those doing work or homework, they have a spacious area for studying and mild music playing in the background. Two-seater tables as well as plenty of large tables for group get togethers, projects or study party. Opened later than other stores for late or last minute studying. Give this place a try and support a local business!

I really appreciate good dark roast, so I chose the French roast decaf. Meh. It tastes like a bitter medium roast. Some people might blame it on the decaf, but I have had great French roast decaf that wasn’t discernibly different from caf.

Went to the drive up one. Ordered irish mocha and got something that tasted like baking cocoa. I hate dutch bros but they even tasted better.

I’m from Sacramento CA and this is the best coffee ever had! We just don’t have places like this that roast their own coffee. So good! Get the white mocha.

visiting here from Princeton NJ… I love the defanged tiger coffee as I have to drink decaf. I cant believe I dont have to sacrifice flavor with the caffeine. I think the 20 ounce was $ 1.75. Cant wait to try one of their pastries — the caramel rolls look insanely good as do their monster-sized scones(which I have heard can be dry). I’ll take pictures next time I’m in the store.

I prefer the other shops down the street both for coffee, service and atmosphere. The loud music and coffee grinders are absolutely deafening.

Seems like a nice spot but got a basic skinny latte and it was poorly executed — no foam, just a milky coffee mix. I think the coffee dude knew it too because he presented it to me with the lid on — no pretty art work in the foam. Again, sadly no foam. He should’ve started over. Hopefully an aberration. But it was a disappointment.

This place is cute, and big delicious fluffy scones for $ 2.25? Duuuuude. Boyfriend ordered Iced White Tiger-it’s coffee with white chocolate and caramel– it was delicious and the coffee was strong. Buzz buzz. I had the Arnold Palmer — iced tea and lemonade in one cup for those of us who like a coffee alternative. We shared a maple bacon scone. From the name you would assume it was delicious, and you can assume correctly. Perfect amount of sweet and salty bacon bits baked directly in the middle of the scone and the scone is light and fluffy. Only $ 2.25 for a scone twice or even thrice as large as you expect to find elsewhere with a similar price tag. We’ll definitely be back!

Great coffee in a friendly atmosphere on the main drag. Limited outdoor seating. Try the caramel rolls. Fantastic! And I understand if they heat them up it reduces the calorie content!

Nice spacious coffee house with lots and lots of drink choices. The Americano was just OK but the raspberry mocha was delicious! They also have a big selection of hot chocolate drinks.

I have been here several times during my visit to the McMinnville area and always appreciate the great coffee, friendly staff and variety of specialty drinks(and the free Wi-Fi doesn’t hurt the experience either). Their specials change based on the season, so around Easter, for example, I was able to experience the superb marshmallow peep mocha. They have plenty of seating and a little bit of a younger, hipper vibe than other 3rd street locations. They also have a couple tables in front of the shop if you want to take your beverage and enjoy the great outdoors.

The baristas aren’t necessarily that friendly, but Cornerstone is the perfect meeting place in downtown McMinnville. You can grab a bistro style meal or pastry to go with your coffee and read a book, work on homework, or visit with friends. Live music events are sweet in this homey café and you can meet some interesting people inside or outside of the café. The coffee beverages are pretty good and the hot chocolate choices are phenomenal. Try the Mexican hot chocolate when you head in with a friend. It’ll spark great conversation for sure.

Was in ‘Mac’ for the Alien Fest on Saturday and we decided to grab a coffee before we headed back to Salem. CCR was on our way to where we parked so we stopped in. I loved the openness of the establishment, and the employees seemed genuinely friendly despite the crowd of people there that day. I had a Jiminy Cricket Milkshake and my partner had an iced coconut mocha. Both were delicious. We also split one of their Blueberry scones. I don’t know if they bake their own pastries or not, but the scone was just right, not too dry and not overly sweet! The cost was in line with what one would expect at a coffee shop these days, so no surprises there. For those that compare all coffee places to Starbucks… please keep in mind that Starbucks really isn’t that good, they are just really really large. CCR is NOTHING like Starbucks and I hope they never become like them! I only gave three stars because the cleanliness wasn’t there. Tables were not wiped down, and not bussed. I realize it was busy, but still, table cleaning is something that needs to be addressed. If you are in ‘Mac’, stop in and have a brew, you won’t be wowed, but you won’t be disappointed either.
