Lavender has to be applied with a deft hand or its more like eating granny’s bath soap. Not to worry here, where the lavender salted caramels are whispered over the the purple stuff. Prices for the quality aren’t bad either. Peppermint bark, even though out of season was yum too. All in all a hypnotic break from wine tasting and loved watching the hand dipping going on.

Swung through McMinnville for the night and while walking around happened upon this cute little shop for a small bite of chocolate. They share a space with a wine bar (smart thinking). I had the lavender bark… So delicious, my DD3 had milk chocolate covered honeycomb and loved it. My only wish is that they were open later. I would have stopped in after dinner for another bite.

The best by far fresh chocolates I have ever eaten. We were in McMinnville for two days and they were closed. Before we left we were able to shop and so glad we did.

I am so excited that this place finally has its own store front. If you are in McMinnville walking around town, you have to stop into this place and try one of their chocolates. My personal favorite is their chocolate covered salted caramels which are the right size, texture and flavor. The have a wide assortment of all kinds of sweets in an attractive presentation and storefront. A definite treat!

I was lucky enough to find them open on Valentine’s Day on my way home from work.
I picked up some dark chocolate-​covered caramels (with a touch of sea salt sprinkled on top), white and dark chocolate covered raspberry ganaches, chocolate covered apricots and candied ginger, and their white chocolate peppermint bark (my personal favorite).
All I can say is YUM! I’m a big fan.
All are handmade and fresh and they source locally. Priced by the pound. Staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Shares space with Twelve Wine tasting room.
