Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft

Walked in and the front store display is totally picked over. Only about one quarter of the shelves filled. A little disappointing when the Easter display should be full and bright.
In the scrapbook department, they have a template for a circle cutter. But I couldn’t find the circle cutter. So, I asked one of the sales ladies to help me. She came over to help and then called another associate and the final verdict was that they had never seen the circle cutter before and didn’t carry it? Why would you carry a template for an item that you don’t even stock?
My son was on the hunt for a special type of fabric that he needed help locating. He asked the woman working in the fabric department about the fabric. She told him she had never heard of it and went back to what she was doing leaving in there just wondering. I always have to wonder if people automatically discount children when they come in and ask for help in the store?
So, poorly merchandised, poorly stocked and the fabric department was not very helpful.
