This is a great place to learn to dance. The instructors are all knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. They are great motivators and make you feel good about your accomplishments. The beginner group classes and practice sessions accommodate those with varying skill levels.

According to Arthur Murray’s book«How To Become A Good Dancer» he claimed that anyone can become a fine dancer. «We dance because it’s fun; that’s reason enough.» A lot of people learn to dance because they have an event coming up that requires a basic knowledge of dance. My husband and I joined Arthur Murray Dance Studio totally for the fun of learning how to dance. And fun it is! We have had three lessons so far and have gone to almost every group dance during the week. Our instructor Kiana has been wonderful. She goes over the steps and makes sure we know them before moving on to something new. She is encouraging, energetic, and is genuinely excited when things finally click with us. Carlos, Liz, and Aaron are amazing also. Whether they are teaching you a new dance on group night or sharing the dance floor with you on Friday night Dance Party they are always enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Life should be enjoyed and what better way to enjoy it then to dance?

My fiancé bought me a Groupon for my birthday for 4 private lessons, 4 group lessons, and 4 practice lessons. We’ve used 2 private lessons so far. It’s so much fun! Our instructor, Emily is very nice and makes the steps for us beginners very easy to understand. Carlos, the manager is always well dressed, friendly, and professional. Although they of course want us to sign up for more classes, the cheapest of which is $ 533! We couldn’t afford this place without the Groupon. So yay for that! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. The studio is clean and beautiful. I wish we could afford more lessons after ours run out.

I have been going to Arthur Murray dance studio in McMurray for 2 years now and I simply love it! Not only do you learn to dance, but you have great fun, laugh a lot, and it is great exercise! The instructors are energetic, talented, and very patient as we learn these new steps. They are there to make your dancing experience a success! You can learn all kinds of dances including Waltz or Tango but if you want to work on some of the more social dances such as Salsa, Swing, and Jitterbug, that is fine too. Just let them know what you want. You take a combination of private lessons and group classes, all guaranteed to make you comfortable with your dancing. You will always have a partner to dance with so no worries there. I am single and there are many single people at the studio but many of my best friends are married couples that I have met at the studio. All ages are welcome, the age ranges from 13 to 77! It is a special group of people who come to this studio. Come by and see what Arthur Murray in McMurray PA is all about. You will not regret it!

My husband and I have taken dance lessons here for two years. We are not the swiftest students, but the instructors are very patient, let us learn at our own pace and are always constructive in their coaching. We started lessons to get ready for one of our children’s weddings. We are now preparing for the fifth wedding among seven children. In fact we’ve bought dance packages for some of the children so that they could have a choreographed wedding dance. Many of the students are in our age range(later middle age), but there are some very impressive young teens(13 – 15) at the studio. There are also a few students who are well into their 70s. I was surprised at the number of single adults, particularly single men, who take lessons here. They tend to learn faster than the rest of us because they do more of their dancing with professionals. We work on the classic ballroom dances, such as waltz, foxtrot, tango and cha-cha. But there are also many useful social dances such as hustle, foxy and wedding line dances. We take one private lesson a week — sometimes more if we are preparing for Showcase, which is the Arthur Murray version of a recital — and several group lessons. Arthur Murray has become the hub of our social life, and it’s good for us as a couple to work on dance together. The group classes are divided by ability level. starting with Newcomers, so you are always learning with people at about your own level. I had a little bit of dance experience before we started, but my husband had none, and he enjoys it as much as I do. The instructors have been especially good about picking out music that he knows and likes in order to make the lessons more comfortable and enjoyable for him. I would recommend Arthur Murray South Hills to anyone.
