A good spot for road food if you have to settle on a chain. Cobb salad with avocado was delish. Ask for the check in advance, service can be a bit slow.

Found this from Unilocal on the way home. Food came out fast. We got fried pickles, boneless BBQ chicken wings with ranch, and the Burlesque Sandwich. Friends got fried pickles, cheese fries, and a fried fish wrap. Really cool interior. Our service was fine. They have soo many sandwiches. Never heard of this place before, must be a chain mostly in the south.

Absolutely delicious little find along our route from Nashville to Raleigh. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere makes you feel warm and welcomed. The staff is friendly and the establishment itself is a jewel. We sat at the bar which had a wall of televisions all playing the Sunday night football games. The sandwich menu was extravagant and did not disappoint as the previous reviewers stated. It was hard to choose, but we decided on the«Dr. Watson» and the«burlesque». Both were huge and absolutely delicious. The house sauce was phenomenal on the burlesque. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through or lucky enough to live in this beautiful area of VA. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a sandwich/burger and a beer. Our total tab was $ 24.95 for 2 sandwiches with a side and 2 beers. Worth every penny!!!

Macado’s has great sandwiches, and a tasty honey mustard sauce. Enjoyed being able to reminice back to my college days grabbing Macado’s with my roommates in Lynchburg. Try any of the croissant sandwiches.

Stopped here on a road trip and ordered way too much food. The portions are giant so you are guaranteed to fill up before finishing the food on your plate. I ordered the Betty Boop turkey sandwich and my husband got some sort of steak po-boy(I think it was called the Big Boy). The meat on my sandwich was the carving board thick sliced kind and there was so much of it I ended up taking some of it off my sandwich. The meat on his steak sandwich was literally that: a medium slice of steak on a sandwich with other toppings. We also ordered the nachos appetizer which I feel we could have made a meal of alone. I got the cole slaw as a side and he got the potato salad. We waddled out of the place happily stuffed and if we lived closer I know we would be back.

Great place to go if you are looking for good variety. Long list of sandwiches that are very good. Recommend if you are wanting something besides fast food.
