Wow, I needed to go out to the mall for some Nikes. I decided to look up a place to eat and found Grill Worx. Let me tell you what. This place is fantastic. Not much else to say. It’s just perfect. Great prices, friendly service, cozy atmosphere and the food was very well prepared. Not many places offer fresh fruit as a side that it just comes with standard. That’s usually something other places charge out the ass for. But not here, it’s part of a good breakfast and I appreciate that.

Had a great breakfast here that I got for takeout and was ready at the counter as soon as I walked in. The chicken fried steak breakfast was an insane amount of food for the price and was great. The restaurant was packed when I picked my food up so its definitely a place that Ill be hitting up when im in the area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and theres plenty of parking.

Well, I just can’t believe how many times we passed this place on our way to Graham from the Mebane Library and didn’t stop! Finally we had to see why the parking lot was always jam-packed. Now it’s our go-to for breakfast. Everything is super fresh, hot, crispy when it needs to be, and delicious. As crowded and busy as they always are, we still never have to wait long for a seat, and our wait-persons have always been friendly, efficient, and generous. We have to try lunch there some time!

My fiancé and I frequent this place. Not an amazing atmosphere and definitely has that small town feel but the food never disappoints. The waitstaff Is very accommodating in our breakfast requests. We will continue to frequent for years to come.

My family and I go here often, staff is always friendly, and concerned, food always comes out fast and correct. What it lacks in decorations it makes up for in soul.

I don’t have to say a lot here because this place speaks for itself! We’ve been going to this little place for several months now and have NEVER had a bad meal or experience. We usually visit two to three times a week. They have been very friendly and attentive from the first day we walked in. The food is good and the service is excellent! The food is priced reasonably also. I’m sorry to see the poor reviews since I have to believe what they experienced was an anomaly. If you’re looking for a place that has great food, service and atmosphere than I would definitely recommend you give Grill Worx a try, I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed in the least!

Seat yourself, really busy on a Saturday morning but only had to wait about 2 minutes to be seated. Staff is very friendly and we got our drinks fast. Food took about 10 minutes but everything tasted homemade and fresh! The biscuits were fluffy and light yet not greasy or too buttery. Eggs light and fluffy and the meats were great. Prices are good we both ate for $ 12 total. I highly recommend it for breakfast to everyone.

Dad, sister and her family all live in Mebane so this is the reason for the visit. First, we came on Easter Sunday and they were open. It’s an unassuming small-town joint that caters to the locals. We are from DC so a little different that we are used to. There were 8 of us and the entire bill was less than $ 60! Cheap! Has your normal menu items but being the healthy eaters that we are, we were pleased to see whole-wheat pancakes and sugar-free syrup. They also had egg-white only options. I got the grilled chicken omelette and my wife got some eggs, bacon and we both had the whole-wheat pancakes. All were very good and no complaints. The staff was great, very polite and hard-working for a holiday! It’s 5m off the main highway so if this pops up in your search, skip the Iron Skilket or one of the other chains and check this place out!

Food is great, but the waitresses’ attitude and lack of service brings this restaurant down.

So good! We’ve had breakfast and lunch from Grill Worx and every time is consistently tasty. We’ve tried the breakfast platters, omelets, and burgers, and would recommend all. Cons? This place stays busy and is a «locals favorite» and is also closed by dinner.

Great little place that’s a throw back to the age of diners. This is a meat and two sides type of diner but it has an extensive breakfast menu available all day. The daily plate specials are comfort foods. Great environment for kids and great kids menu selection. Staff was attentive and food was really good. I highly recommend if you want something different from the chain restaurant experience.

Went there for breakfast around lunchtime today. It was very busy when we got there but we got lucky when a booth opened right in front of where we were standing and the departing customer gestured for us to come over, as we were about to take one of the tiny two seater tables against the wall. Since it is seat yourself, we did just that, and settled into the booth instead. Evidently we pissed off one of the regulars that was too busy socializing to notice the open booth and she whined about it up front for 15 minutes until another booth opened. We really didn’t even see anyone else waiting or we wouldn’t have«stolen» the booth but since she was a regular and we were first-timers, we were treated rudely by the first waitress that came over, who ended up being a friend of hers. She was very abrupt with us and didn’t even say a word(hello would have been nice) as she cleaned the table off. Thankfully, we had another waitress serve us. She was very pleasant. I ordered the eggs benedict«Grill Worx style» because it was served on a croissant instead of english muffin. The ham on it was fatty and gross but the rest was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, hash browns, and mac & cheese. Hash browns were undercooked, mac & cheese was meh, but he liked the steak. The hash browns that came with mine were good to me. He ate my fruit and liked it. We split one pancake and it was awesome. We also ordered a single plain biscuit and he liked it but I wasn’t impressed. It is a charming little place, nothing fancy, but we aren’t fancy people. It was reasonably priced, about $ 20 for everything and we did order a lot. The waitress offered us to-go drinks, which is always nice. He gave it 5 starts out of 10 but I would give it 7 of 10 because I like little greasy spoon places like this and even though some of our food was sub-par, some was REALLY good, so that bumps it up a bit. We will return at some point.

This is the better of the Grill Worx restaurants. I wrote another review of the Grill Worx in Graham which was poorly run. This one seems to be pretty good. Ask for Molly as your server.

Second time my wife and I have eaten here for lunch. The food and portions are better than average. Biggest complaint is the servers are not managed properly and spend more time talking and laughing among themselves then taking care of customers. I understand that many of these servers are high school kids but they should spend their time with customers and not counting tips and talking among themselves.
