They have a great subscription service! and its free! Not only do they have comics, they also have neat toys and other random stuff! Its totally worth it to stop in!

Great selection of new comics, back issues, and graphic novels. I’m always impressed with the large indie comic section… and comics by local creators. Been here a few times because they have a lot of events… and appreciate the coupons they give out. Great atmosphere… they always have cool music playing. Even though it’s not my local shop, the staff always makes me feel at home.

Great selection of graphic novels and mini-comics. The staff was knowledgable, helpful and friendly. The store is welcoming and clean and there is something for everyone. To see two young girls shopping with their Dad made me glad I drove from State College to shop in this store. I WILL be back.

This is the closest comic shop to my area, and I could have asked for a better shop. The times I’ve asked them to hold items, the staff had been nothing but gracious and accommodating. It is a small store, but they make up for it by having the walls and most of the floor space crammed with comics. In addition, they have some collectables, board games, and other kinds of books, like Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks. My only complaint is that they are a bit scarce with collectables, in comparison to other comic shops in the area. Overall, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better comic shop in the area.

While planning a nerd pilgrimage around Harrisburg Metro Area Comic, Gaming, and DVD shops this was recommended to me by a friend who said it’s one of the better Comic Book shops in the area. After our first stop at an «not to be named» shop with less then enthusiastic service and poor organization, this store was the polar opposite.
Store was average sized but very well stocked with comics. Long boxes with older issues line the one wall, new and recent comics on the other wall, oldest/rarest behind the counter, and in the back is an full size Silver Surfer. Staff were quite knowledgeable, pleasant to talk with, and gladly answered questions. Biggest complaint from my friend was they had some collectables, not but as many as he would have liked to see.
Absolutely worth a stop if your in the area to this clean and well organized store.

I often go here from out of town. I like the layout of the store. Not so much the layou of the comics order. It can be slightly confusing.
The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The selection of comics is above anything I have seen in the state.
The location is really solid but can be tough to get in and out of at times and parking can be trouble at times.
They have good sales and prices. They carry pretty much any graphic novel you could want.

Initially found due to their Magic the Gathering stock. A little on the pricey side at 4 – 5 bucks a booster pack but sometimes it’s worth a dollar to keep from driving across the river 20 minutes away. They sell a decent amount of board games, but you can definitely tell their strong suit is in their comic books and superhero collectibles. Their entire front case is just filled with stuff that screams nerdgasm. I have had both good and not so good experience with the employees. Some are very friendly and willing to help even if you don’t ask for it, and others could care less if you fell over in a fit of epilepsy, C’est la vie.

Board game nights every tuesday. I love this place… I’m a regular. The one guy, Greg… amuses me. Though he claims he doesn’t like me, I’m pretty sure he’s joking. I haven’t been there in a few weeks and I miss it… but I’ve been sick.
Also, they have a good selection of comics, board games… whatever you need. They’ll hold stuff for you, too. Sure, it looks like a typical small comic store… but I still love this place.

Comic books, comic books, comic books. What more can you say? Ok they have have a bit more than just comics. They sell gaming materials, games, and collectibles too. You can get a mix of the old and the new comics here. Plus you can get a box and have specific comics put in there so you can just go in and give them a box number and have all your favorites ready to go right away.
