Hampden Township Pool

Great community pool in the middle of town. The pros: Abundant parking, somewhat clean bathrooms, well behaved and supervised children, lifeguards that actually enforce rules, a sprayground, waterslide, shade, picnic tables and a concession stand. 15 minutes on the hour, kids are restricted to using other areas while only adults can peacefully enjoy the pool for the remainder of the hour.
This public membership/​fee park is a lovely and inexpensive way to relax while you let your kids loose. You are allowed to bring a cooler and picnic foods. I observed some adults tackfully bring their own special blend of «grown up juice”(I must reiterate, VERY TACKFULLY). This pool is very family centered and billgerant or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated here. Use common sense and you will love hanging out here.
I enjoyed my afternoon here under the shade of an umbrella. Its well worth the admission. If you are an avid user of the pool, you may want to pay for a membership. You can cross the street and pay for seasonal acess at the rec center.
