This summer I took a belt to Jumper’s for repair. It needed new stitching near the buckle and the guys repaired it and made it look like new. They had it ready for pickup the next day and I was pleased. Cash only for payment. Be sure to check them out.

This place is great. They have saved three pair of my favorite shoes and are very responsible in cost. No credit cards accepted — cash or check.

I had a pair of Doc Martens I had given up for dead… but I heard great things about Jumper’s so I thought it was worth a shot. They figured out a way to fix them so my favorite boots once again wear like new. Honest, solid service.

Only business in Central PA I found that would affix a custom made belt buckle to a wide leather belt. $ 9.50. Excellent, prompt work and you can’t beat the price. Open 8:00am through 5:00pm Monday –Friday Saturday 8:00am– 12:00pm

When I happened upon Jumper’s Shoe Service while driving down Main Street in Mechanicsburg, I remembered that I had two pairs of shoes that were stained with road salt. I took them in, asked whether they could be restored. The gentleman behind the counter said he would try but could not guarantee it. I respected his candor and asked him to give it a go. A few days later, I picked up shoes that looked new. The price was reasonable and the work was sound. As good as it gets.

Jumper’s is my go-to shoe place, which is saying something since I live 2 hours away in Philadelphia! I send my shoes home with my family when they need repaired because they are better than any place I’ve tried in the city. Reasonable prices and high quality work. I recently took in my favorite pair of boots and they resoled them and cleaned them up… they look almost like new! I wear them almost every day in the fall while walking to and from work, so they definitely looked worse for the wear. Can’t wait to put them on again. Thanks Jumper’s!

You break it, they fix it if it is feasible. They tell you the truth if something can not or should not be fixed. Nice stock of polishes and laces

I lost weight and I needed to find an old fashion shoe repair place to shortened the length on several nice leather belts, which had become too large for me. Knowing that I would be traveling to Mechanicsburg, I took my belts with me and found Jumper’s. Wow. It was exactly what I was looking for. An older shop, run by very knowledgeable personnel. The leather work they did on my belts was perfect. Although I did not need a shoe repair, they had the knowledge, expertise and equipment to make the needed leather repairs on my belts and I am a very pleased that I found them.

I have used the shoe/purse repairs of these gentlemen several times now. Located on Main Street in Mechanicsburg, the shop is small, and their hours require me to adjust my weird work schedule to get there, but they are worth it! Parking is on the street and I always have been able to park in front of the building. For those parallel-parking-phobes(yes, seriously, licensed drivers whine about this!) you can just swoop in and park. No NYC cab driver mad parking! They under-promise and over-deliver time-wise, and have expertly repaired snapped heels, broken clasps on purses, re tipped heels, and made seriously skinned heels and boots look new again. I am a heel-strike walker so I am hard on shoes, and I love expensive shoes and bags which tend to be a bit delicate. I am also hard to fit, so if I find comfy shoes, I will wear them until they are worn out and cannot be re-soled/re-tipped/repaired any longer. My latest use of them included 3 pairs of shoes. 1-One heel snapped from the upper 2-One pair to be re-tipped and a scarred heel resurfaced 3-One bow on a pair of patent leather stilettos reattached and the other more firmly secured One thing to note, this is a SMALL operation. I have always dealt with the same two gentleman and they do NOT accept credit cards. Nothing flashy… Just solid shoe repair.
