Oak Grove Farms

Love this place! Great fruits and veggies and awesome local specialty items you can’t find anywhere else. Love the jam and coffee beans!

Good quality produce but high prices.
Would not survive in Lancaster county.
Bakery is the best in the area.
Some items are not locally grown.

I absolutely love Oak Grove for inexpensive veggies and fruits. This is where I get all my end of season or imperfect produce for canning. You can get huge amounts of perfectly good produce for a really great price and they usually have more if you ask. I also buy Trickling Springs milk from them, I love that they also collect the bottles back so you don’t lose your deposit.
I wish they offered organic options, but for what it is, Oak Grove has definitely earned five stars,

I love this place. It used to seem like a neat little secret but I keep running into people I know shopping there.
We started going there for the dig your own mums in the fall. You’d take your own containers and then head out to the field and dig up the ones that you wanted. It was pretty messy but the prices were amazing and the quality/​selection was great.
We also go there for pumpkins in the fall.
This spring I purchased a large number of annuals and a few perennials. The quality is the same as at the up-​scale garden/​nursery locations but the prices are much less. Their selection in the green house is pretty nice.
They sell produce (I usually recommend that people hunt out the locally grown items) and they, too, are usually much better priced than at the grocery stores. There are other items like nuts, jams/​jellies, breads, honey, cookies, candies, etc.
I know they have pick your own strawberries, and I think they might have a few other pick your own options.
Update: 6÷19÷08 — Did the pick your own strawberries today. $ 6.50 for 4 quarts. The plants are kind of picked over but we found plenty to fill up 8 quarts worth. The strawberries are incredible!
