Hirshfield Dental Care – David Hirshfield, DMD

I was a new patient at Hirshfield Dental Care in February 2016. I told the staff and the dentist about my fears. They listened well and were respectfully supportive, checking in with me as the dental work was done. Dr. Hirshfield makes sure that there will be no pain. It was the first time I was not afraid as I had dental work. And the dentist said that I was an excellent patient, which gave me more confidence.

I have always been afraid of the dentist (always) but Dr. Hirshfield was so calming, informative & professional that it really made it all pretty easy. Unfortunately I just had a tooth pulled and he made it as simple a process as possible.
The whole office was extremely friendly & professional and I was amazed at how clean everything was! (Very comforting at a medical office.) My sister recommended him & I’m so glad she did… I would recommend him to anyone, they even have a plan for people who don’t have dental insurance. If you don’t live in Medfield, it’s worth the drive!

i switched from my local «old school» read: painful as hell, dentist to hirshfield dental about three years ago — and it was the best decision i’ve ever made in relation to dental care. most of my family has also left dr. old school for dr. hirshfield as well and they’re glad they did.
the entire staff there is super friendly. dr. hirshfield is warm and funny and very gentle — they offer sedation dentistry but honestly i haven’t felt a need to use it because he really is gentle when doing fillings. i also like their in-​house insurance plan for those of us sans dental insurance, it’s very affordable ($ 200) and includes your two yearly visits, X-​rays, and some kind of gum test. you also get a discount on any additional work you need like fillings.
i really like that when i walk in there for my appointments i don’t feel stressed or anxious the way i did with my old dentist and i know that dr. hirshfield and his staff will take their time and do a great job. no complaints after three years and i hope to stay here for many years to come.
