Ordered today because our usual spot was closed with snow and did not like the pizza. Got a cheese for the kids and a veggie one. Both pizzas had a ton of grease on them! We also got a salad with it which was fine. Looked fresh and was just a simple garden.

I love this place. Friendly people working behind the counter and excellent pizza and grinders. I can’t find anything like it out in Los Angeles. I grew up in Medfield and moved 20 years ago but still swing by for a hamburg pizza and roast beef grinder while in town visiting family. There spaghetti and meatballs is also a great choice.

They have polite friendly service. I like their subs. I do not like their pizza. But I’ll admit I’m a pizza snob. I grew up in the NY/NJ area where the worst dive has better pizza than most home-town pizza places in New England. I’m not prejudice against New England; I love living here and would never move back. But most home-town pizza places in New England cook pizza in a pan; NY style pizza is slid off a peel and cooked directly on the oven stone. The difference in the crust is night-and-day. NY pizza has a crispy yet chewy crust. Pan pizza has a crumbly doughy texture. So any of the older New England pizza places that still cook in a pan, I skip. I order something else or go to one of the newer Neapolitan or brick oven places that cook pizza on an oven stone.

3 words: BUFFALOCHICKENPIZZA. Best in Medfield and neighboring towns! My family only orders from here! Fast and delicious!

Love Greek style pizza. Stopped here on the way home from work tonight for the first time and was very pleased. Will definitely come here again.

I have been going to this place since 1971. No lie. I’m sure it has changed ownership several times over the years, but the formica-clad dining area hasn’t changed a bit! Good. It’s unpretentious and charming because of it. I can admit, though, since I got my driver’s license, I’ve mostly ordered to go. Of course, what counts is good pizza and subs, at a good price. And they’ve got it. The two large pizza with free greek salad deal can’t be beat. And their pizza and Italian subs are both the best I’ve found in the area. No wonder I keep coming back.

I have visited this place for years. They traditionally have been the most consistently good pizza in town. However something is changed. The pizza does not taste fresh. It tastes like the crust has been pre made and frozen then thawed. Time for me to switch. It has happened too many times.

Not really sure how this place gets good reviews. I am a salad person and I was in the area and needed something for dinner. I stopped here to get a greek salad. There is signage on the windows that talks about the greek salad being one of their highlights. So, I figured it would be good. It was a pile of iceberg lettuce, TWO slim shavings of tomatoes, TWO kalamata olives, TWO slices of cucumber and a little white onion. With only a small smattering of feta. It was a poor excuse for a greek salad. On top of that the salad was $ 6.75. Oh yes and it came with a balled up half pita bread. Literally, it was in a ball. and the dressing was italian NOT greek. Sorry I hate to be picky but it was a total rip off.

We’ve gone more than once so it’s not a bad place. They have decent pizza, better than the chain pizza places for sure. They have a really friendly Greek staff :)

I love the little place. The food is why though. Not much in any other area. My favorite are the Buffalo Chicken Calzone and their toasted Italian sub. Both are incredible. Pizza is good and Greek style as mentioned, but just eat it hot. Doesnt make good ‘cold’ pizza.

Just tried this pizza place. We had a large special which was absolutely loaded! Also ordered a small Hawaiian which was very good. Crust is perfect not being too doughy and mushy. Our pizza was also very cheezy. Delivery was good although seemed a little slow I’ll be ordering from there moving forward

it’s greek pizza… what else do you need to know… good, consistent and oily… but if you don’t like greek pizza, don’t eat here

Royal Pizza is my favorite takeout /delivery pizza in Medfield. It’s consistently good and ready when they say it will be. We don’t get very exotic when ordering, usually meat lovers or extra pepperoni and a cheese. I like that when you order two large pizzas you get a «free» salad. Salad is mostly iceberg lettuce, so not fabulous, but again, very very consistent. It is nice to get exactly what you expect every time. I have never eaten in the restaurant, but I do pick up fairly often and it is clean. Usually the service people are friendly. It can get harried at meal times, but nothing you wouldn’t expect. My only complaint with this place is that Sunday evening is when I most often want pizza, and they are CLOSED! Most inconvenient.

I live in Dedham and I make the trip at least once a week with the family. The food is just fantastic. I’ve been eating there since I can remember. My family still lives in Medfield, this place has been like a tradition for all of us, I think they’ve been there almost 40 years. Their pizza is just amazing, nice crispy crust and the sauce is just so delicious the kids love it. Great service as well very friendly people its just too bad they don’t deliver all the way to dedham, but its well worth the drive for me.
