This was a hard one for me to rate. As far as the work that was done for me, which was to remove a large tree, they did a great job, and quickly, and at a reasonable price. My complaint however, is with the fact that the wood was to be piled, and NOT hauled off. When asked why the wood was gone (except the huge trunk pieces) I was told by the owner that someone came by and wanted the wood and he decided, why not? First of all it was not their wood to give away (or sell) to this guy. Why wasn’t I asked, or informed? Second, the owner needs to know his boundaries. When he came to the door to get paid, he stepped in, as I went to get my purse, he came through into dining room, proceeded to check out papers that were on my table, picked them up and questioned me about them (which were other tree removal estimates). Then was going to take them to show his crew. Boundaries are, don’t go past someone’s front door, none of your business what papers are on my table, and don’t give (or sell) wood, that is not yours! Workers were great, boss needs some direction.

This is the second time Will and his staff have been to our house to remove some dangerous trees. They are fast, efficient, and professional.

Will and his crew did an amazing job taking down our 125ft Doug Fir and a huge Hard Rock Maple. After we had that bad wind storm, that sent us a message that they had to come down for everyone’s safety. Will came in with a great bid, experienced crew and very organized. They had it down in a day and cleaned up in two. They worked around power lines and a clearance of 10ft from our house. They dropped the last 40ft of the tree inbetween the house and our little Japanese Maple. You had to be here to see these guys work. We would definitely recommend this company to our friends. We had advanced tree service out to our house to have a tree removed and another tree pruned in the back yard. The removal went fine, the pruning, however, did not. Our tree was basically gutted, and dead branches were left on the tree with a trail of debris below it that was never cleaned up. One of the arborists (who I was told was part owner) told me that the person who pruned the tree was fired after peer review. I called the owner 3 times, progressively more agitated each time, and he kept telling me they would get back to me, which they never did. I agree with Mike C’s review, don’t pay them until the job is complete and inspected. STAY AWAY.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear about the other reviewer’s experience. Not sure what happened there, but my experience was the exact opposite. We have had a couple of half dead trees located in a precarious position next to our mobile home for some time that needed to be removed. We happened to see these guys working on some trees in a neighbor’s yard and stopped on a whim to talk to them. Will (the owner) offered to take the trees down right then and there for a really good deal. By the end of the day, the trees were down and the stumps were ground up and taken away.
