I just got my first tattoo at 52. Can’t say enough about Jason! He was very professional and I felt very comfortable with him. My lotus tattoo on my wrist came out better than I imagined! Can’t wait to get my next one! Thanks Jason!

BEST BEST BEST ever! Jason is not only highly talented but also extremely professional. Shop is clean and always has great music playing too! Jason is easy to talk to, and ALWAYS goes out of his way for his clients. I was in a pinch with a bad piercing that SOMEONE ELSE did and Jason’s shop was closed but I called anyway and he picked up (must have call forwarding) and he came in JUST to fix my piercing for me! He was there in 15 min. I was in Soooo much pain and just needed a new ring for my piercing so he only made $ 10 out of the deal but just goes to show how much he cares. I was literally almost in tears on the phone. Jason has also tattooed me and my friends in the past and pierced me multiple times and I’ve never been happier! LOCAL, CONVENIENT, COMPETENT, AND PROFESSIONAL! What more could you ask for?! Go see Jason for all your tattoo and piercing needs! Far and away THE BEST!

I have yet to go to Chromatic however I was in Bova’s bakery in the North End one day and saw a key Jason did on a young womans back and it was AMAZING. I am a former art student and therefore am very picky about the artwork that goes on my body. The detail and shading of this tattoo were out of control. I could not stop staring at it and ever since I saw it, I refuse to go anywhere else for my next tattoo.

Jason helped me tattoo over a scar on my arm and it came out perfect. I’d post a picture if I could. I came in and told him what I wanted to do, came back in a few hours, and he had drawn it up. He let me pick out the music I wanted while he worked. It only took about two hours for him to bang out a large, detailed tree on my forearm, and the price was not outrageous either! I’m going to chromatic for my next one!

Great place. I went here for my first tattoo with my girlfriend on her 18^th birthday and her mother. We all got inked that day and they came out great. I would definitely go back here for another one down the road. The prices were fair for the relatively small tattoos we all got, but well worth it.

I got my first tattoo here. I liked Jason a lot. I got two others here after that, third one by his Aussie buddy who was really cool. This was a while back in ⁰⁵⁄₀₆ for the three.
I forget what the minimum was. I think $ 50. My tats weren’t big, I didn’t pay much at all. I actually lucked out on #1 and got below minimum since it was so small.

I was taken by a friend who got her work done there; word of mouth is the best way of publicity. I haven’t been back but I would put that in the places I would go for a future tattoo.
Pretty small, doesn’t need a lot of space though. The rooms are private and it was very clean when I was there so I’m guessing it still is. I’ll have to stop in one day and take a peak. My good friend lives over by there now.
Easy location to get too, parking could potentially be difficult if you don’t know the area but side streets work wonders on parking (although now they’ve put in more permit parking in that area. so maybe I take that back haha).
Anyways, worth a shot going. It’s small but does the job and he is really friendly. and good looking from what I remember.

Great service. Very clean. Tattoo looks great. Awesome small studio with a one man crew. I went in and talked with the artist about getting the tattoo done and he was very helpful in deciphering what I actually wanted. The tattoo came out exactly how i imagined it would. I recomend this place highly.

I had two positive experiences and one horribly bad one that assures I will NEVER go back to chromatic.
I called for an appointment, told Jason exactly what I wanted, and showed up for my appointment. He was smoking a cigarette inside when I arrived, and stood in the doorway to finish his cigarette while looking at the picture of what I wanted done. While he finished his cigarette I walked back to the bathroom… there were empty beer cans all over the floor as well as a 6 pack of empty glass bottles. There was a trash can with ice and full beers in it too.
He told me I couldnt get it written in mirror image, because it would be too hard for him to do and no one else would be able to read it. He said he couldnt see the picture of the flower I had, and could draw two petals if thats all i wanted.
At that point I got my picture back and left. Like I said before, I have two other tattoos from Chromatic and love them, but my guess is that he was too drunk to tattoo me anyways. I will NEVER go back to Chromatic!
I went to STINGRAY in Allston, and they were awesome, did exactly what I wanted, and were as professional as can be.
