I was so surprised today by the loveliness of this shop. I got great customer service and I left smiling.

Back in Seattle — a town known for its coffee love — there were two types of coffee shops: Starbucks, and every other family owned coffee shop that served identical coffee in identical ways. I know there are probably a limited number of ways to make coffee but it was frustrating to explore different coffee shops and watch as they usually all served the same coffee in the same way. Literally the same coffee, too, all created by the same coffee company that sells its coffee supply to all of the independently owned coffee shops. Lame. That was a long intro because otherwise there is not a lot of things I can say about a coffee shop the size of a closet. But Downtown Grounds has like 100 different variations of their coffee drinks including complete weirdness, and they invent new ones all the time. What other reason is there to own a coffee shop if you’re not going to do something different? So Kudos to Downtown Grounds.

Totally cute coffee shop, right across from the Woolworths building downtown. We ordered a strawberry smoothie, the barista was super friendly and helpful. Café seats right outside, perfect for a summer day.

I’ve been addicted to this place for some time now, and go out of my way to go here, passing up the multiple chain coffee shops on every other corner. High quality coffee & super friendly, pro staff. I love that they’re a local, small business. They pay attention to details– this was my first exposure to coffee art! On top of that, they remember me and my weird order alterations every time– even when I don’t– & carry hemp milk and dairy alternatives for blended drinks. This is both rare and awesome. Go in and get a Peanut Butter Thing(unless you’re allergic) or a Mayan Mocha(unless you hate spicy drinks).

This is a wonderful local business. The coffee is excellent and the prices are very modest. The cold brew coffee sold there is second to none, it requires absolutely no sugar and is very smooth. The owner of the coffee shop really takes pride in the craft and it really shows in the quality of product and enthusiasm and friendliness expressed by the staff. Thank you Downtown Grounds for being there for us :-)

Great people working here. A small, literal«whole in the wall» establishment nestled under a staircase in the entrance of vintage Medford building. Nice place to grab a quick cup to go or just sit outside. Nice strong drip coffee, also serving some snacks. Support these local cats… they deserve it.

Tall guy working the small coffee bar was soooooo nice. I would definitely come back here again just for the great customer service. Plus our lattes were delicious and it was 50 cents off today! Good find.

Just had House Coffee with a «free shot» — and that REALLYWOKEMEUP ! I like the«cozy seating» upstairs, plus they have access to a Very Clean & Nice Bathroom in the office building just next door(A BIGPLUSAFTER A CAFFEINATEDRUSHOFGOODCOFFEE !) The guy who maintains the lobby is young and very nice. It’s a quick place to find something a little different than Tired Dutch Bros. or Starbuck’s or other chains, all of which grow old after a while. STOPBY ! Every 10 drinks you get the 11thFREE ! The 20 oz comes(again) with a free shot — GUARANTEEDTOWAKEYOUUP ! There’s not a lot of places that are quick and easy«downtown Medford», so this should work for a lot of us «ordinary», undemanding people ! ENJOY !

This is the first place my husband and I got a latte when we moved to Medford. It’s quaint little place with décor made by locals. I was surprised at all the different specialty drinks you can order. My favorite is the Lavendar Mocha and my husbands is the Destroyer of Worlds. My favorite part about this coffee shop, is that they have 3 different non dairy options — Almond milk, Soy milk, and Hemp milk. Which is great since I can’t have dairy. This shop also supports local music, and they always have cds for sale by local bands :)

Good coffee, I like Americanos and they make them perfectly. Tiny location, but has tables upstairs and outside with free wifi. Good service.

Just a teeny tiny coffee place located under the stairwell to an old, restored historic building. No room to sit inside. Tables are on the sidewalk. Coffee– just ok, not memorable.

Good coffee, good service, wish they had a bigger lounge but it is what it is… nice staff and good brew…
