Yeah, your cocktail game is on point-but your hospitality game, not so much. It’s cool to be nice, guys! You have a one of a kind business in the area, and I would love to support it, but can’t shake the feeling that I am unwanted and«not cool enough» every time I have visited. Also, to the bartender eating a meal behind the bar-that’s pretty gross. Keep that stuff BOH.

Great Atmosphere, Incredible bar, excellent staff, nice menu. Chad the server was just Amazing person, Our table got to know him a little and what a amazing human being this guy is, he has traveled the Pacific Coast trail alone, I’ve been told with plenty large containers of Peanut butter. By the way I had the best Grilled cheese sandwich ever tonight here. I especially liked the balsamic glaze, it was great both on the Salad and drizzled on the sandwich, Wow :) The location had a high end feel. It’s right in the heart of This beautiful town in the Pacific Northwest called Medford, OR. Wish we had more time here… thank you for the memories. Also The owner gave us free drinks, what a gentleman. We’ll differently be loyal fans and come here often. Spread the word. This place is fantastic, food is great & drinks are stellar. –Micah

Beer is solid. Atmosphere was on point reminded me of Portland OR. Chad was our server: we couldn’t have asked for a better service. He was fun, attentive, & talkative. Had the chicken pot pie, it was good; more on the gourmet side. Less traditional chicken pot pie in a bowl style-more-pie shaped and more in a croissant wrap style. Over all a pleasant experience.

Food menu limited, but unique and specialized. Items change frequently. Come here for drinks. They have a classy bar and an excellent selection of higher end liquor.

Drinks are great! Well designed cocktails, and an excellent selection of whiskeys. We’ve eaten there a couple of times as well and the food was tasty. Service is always spot on, even if they are busy. 3 stars only because they do overprice for what you get. But, hey, they are bagging all the baby-boomers so that’s working out for them. I’ll definitely come back when I want a specialty drink and don’t plan on making a night of it.

The bartenders are so friendly and really know what they are doing! I had two old«old» fashions. My boyfriend had a specialty gin drink of the menu and then we inquired about a gin fizz. We read about it recently, specifically a Ramos gin fizz. One of the guys knew exactly how to make it and they informed us it would take 8 min in the shaker, we felt bad so we tipped double. The staff is so friendly! We also had the deviled eggs, those were so amazing! We live in San Diego and have so many gastropubs to choose from but we wish this one was at home. It would be insanely busy if it was so just another reason to come back!

Have not been for a while but am returning tonight with a friend from the East. Look ye here… Impeccable saloon décor and atmosphere. It is a saloon with attention to detail in the drinks. That means both inventiveness and tradition. The food is also inventive and not expensive. Staff amiable and helpful. Try it!

This is our second time to go to Jefferson Spirits and did not like it both times. When you first go in you have no idea where you can get service. We sat in the back and then decided to sit closer to the front for light. We sat at the window seats. We sat for awhile and no one came to speak to us. Finally my husband got up to ask the bartender if we have to order from the bar. He said, yes, there is no table service there. So we did. We got our food in a reasonable time and it was good. The drinks were good also. I have been in many bars and this is the first time that I have sat in an area other than the actual bar and not been spoken to or asked what I would like. They may want to watch to see when people sit in these window seats and let them know that they will not be waited on. The other thing I wanted to comment on was the young man behind the bar working — not the bartender who had on a black tee shirt that said«fuck it». Wow, this is classy. I know this is a word that many people use all too often but there are lots of people who don’t and are offended by this. I was looking at his shirt from several yards away so it’s possible this is not what it said, but it was mean’t to look that way. We won’t be back unless things improve.

Great atmosphere, great drinks, and great service. I love the specialty cocktails they serve here. Typically I avoid cocktails at all costs, but not at Jefferson Spirits! They are rich and smooth, and don’t taste like a nasty sugar bomb exploded in my mouth.

So been here twice. First time great SERVICE, and food. Second time… as I sit here looking to make eye contact with any of the 2 bartenders while sitting at the bar that has a total of 3 people, I have become invisible! Slow to no service. After I did get to order my appetizer it was really good! Side note while the bartenders are not paying attention to most of those customers they are freely talking about all their extra curricular activities. Also a couple Of people have had to come up and ask for their checks

When you can walk in and listen to good music; enjoy your evening with great food for your pallet, and unique drinks to compliment that meal than life feels accomplished. Enjoy this casual relaxed atmosphere if you can. Our dinner of Mac n cheese with prosciutto, chimi churi steak served with asparagus led us to order some warm bread to clear the sauces from our plates. It was worth it!!!

PSA: I don’t like cocktail bars. I have given notoriously harsh reviews of cocktail bars in the past. Reviews that illicit massive amounts of butthurt from my cocktail bar-loving comrades. Having said that, I LOVE this place! I don’t live in Medford, but for 2 months I was here on business and it certainly felt like I did! And this place, was my home. The ambiance is stunning. You can tell that care and love went into every little detail. Everything feels classy, but not at all in a pretentious way. The food, the cocktails, and the beers were constantly rotating. I loved this. OH, and this place has GREAT beer on tap. All too often cocktail bars will only have beers in cans or bottles. NOTHERE. You can also get food here pretty late, for Medford. This is the latest place I found in Medford where you could still get«real» food. Bartenders were very nice and got to know me by name. I live in Alaska now, but next time I’m cruising through Southern Oregon, I’ll definitely stop on by.

Although I have had some spirits here, it’s the Mac N Cheese with Prosciutto that I LOVE It is really really good. I will definitely be back and I will have to try other things from the menu.

Jefferson Spirits is one of those establishments where you aren’t sure how it found its way to the Rogue Valley. We certainly don’t deserve something so nice here, what with our penchant for shitty chain restaurants and drive through garbage. However, luckily we have been gifted this bar from the gods. Not only is it locally owned, but its also employee owned, so they take everything to the highest caliber. The bartenders here are not only personable, but genuinely get to know you, and know what you like. They’ve ordered bottles of whiskey, and SAVED them for when I next came in, because they thought I would like them. Where does something that happen? Jefferson Spirits. That is where. You know the second you walk in and glance at the bar that whatever you choose to drink will make your day fade away and your worries vanish, because its going to be amazing. Lets touch on the food for a second, shall we? We get a rotating menu here of deliciousness that is always full of surprises. I have yet to order anything that hasn’t made me want to kidnap the chef, chain him to my oven, and force him to cook for me at my will. I am of course rational, so I wouldn’t do that, but the food is that damn good. I suggest keeping tabs out for when they occasionally treat us with their house cinnamon rolls. Although I am not a spiritual man, those tasty baked goods make me pray to the sky that I am around when they are made, so I can order them twice in the same night. So you, yes you, reading this, go, GONOW, and treat yourself to the best part of your day which is going to Jefferson Spirits, you won’t be disappointed.

Food was amazing and the service was top notch. The jam and Brie was simple and off the chain. Also the prosciutto Mac and cheese was the best Mac and cheese i have had in Oregon

BESTDEVILEDEGGSEVER! Cool, laid back vibe. Comfortable and clean. I think the bartenders could be a little more friendly/helpful — especially to sell more booze. I asked about the weekly flight and rather than make ANY suggestions, the guy simply handed me a GIANT menu of whiskey and scotch and walked away. It wasn’t very busy & and I had just told him it was my birthday. I get the«hipster» vibe — too cool for you — and all that, but I’m an interested customer with money to spend. DId I mention, incredible deviled eggs? Wow! The husband and I are into food — these were worth another trip back. Cesar salad lacked anchovy and was way too big. Flatbread(we had the tri tip with blue cheese) was delicious, but not flat at all. Overall, we will be back… guess I’ll have to win over the snooty barkeep.

Great atmosphere – a cross between a library and a repurposed industrial building. The bar has an amazing assortment… something like eight bourbons from Oregon alone(who knew??). Bartenders are very knowledgeable and personable. Menu is limited but offers enough selections to satisfy nearly anyone’s appetite. Food is tasty and nicely presented. This is the sort of place that is friendly enough to attract a lot of regulars, but interesting enough to appeal to out-of-towners.
