I’m not sure what happened to my review but these guys are great! Came here to get a remote starter installed and it’s still working perfectly after a year. Making the appointment through to the installation was a breeze. They don’t try to sell you something you don’t need and they even guide you through the the usage of the product. Very courteous people too! And to top it all off they don’t leave your car looking like someone destroyed it. Highly recommended!

Received a call from the owner to understand what happened. I guess they do care. I have moved away from the area so I was not looking for any resolution.

Highly Recommend! The staff is friendly, very professional, and offers great service! My GPS navigation system stopped working due to «disk link not found». Staff was extremely helpful and able to resolve the issue for far less than the dealership would have charged. They have great prices, are knowledgeable, and complete the work when promised. I was so impressed with their service and reliability that I had them install a rear view mirror camera to help with daily parallel parking in the city. Quality of work is excellent!

Waooo make a reservation, and have to change it maybe 2 time very polite, great service they asked me what was wrong with audio system they check everything to make sure that they provide me with super accurate information they find where the issue was and corrected without trying to sell me stuff I don’t need or blow my wallet, I am more than satisfied with my choice to go to this audio systems heaven, I super highly recommend you guys to anybody looks to solve audio systems issues, from 1 to 10 on scale I will give 11

These guys have done a couple jobs on my car, and I have to give them a glowing review.
Like everyone else says, the staff is friendly, knowledgable, and honest. They didn’t push me to get anything expensive, and all of the work was done in the timeframe they gave me.
1. FM aux cable — they said it would sound okay, most of the time — but the sound quality is actually about as good as the CDs almost all of the time. There’s light static crackling on a rare day, but it’s a great addition to an older car.
2. Detailing was pricey, but thorough. The inside of the car looked showroom new. All of the random nooks and crannies, cubbies, even the rear ashtrays were spotless. The outside of the car looked great too.
3. Tinting — ~$ 250, pretty standard, 35% all the way around (state limit)
4. iPhone mount — ~$ 125, works great.
Long story short, Krank it Up has been all over my vehicle and I couldn’t recommend them more. Professional, honest, great. I’ll be back.

I Love this place. I live in NH and There are plenty of custom shops around me, but I drive the distance for the quality. They have worked on 4 of my cars and I keep coming back. I’ve had them install HID’s, tints, head units, subs, backup camera’s, etc. if you are looking to upgrade or mod your ride definitely visit these guys. They are the best in New England.

Scheduled an appointment back in March 2015 to have 7 windows tinted in my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Great folks, professional and responsive. Had a minor issue on a few of my windows due to bubbling after a month of the install and they re-​tinted those windows without a problem. Will come back for future installs.

First time I have ever been compelled to leave a review on Unilocal.I was having what appeared to be multiple electrical issues with my 2004 Jeep. (90K miles). The door lock /​unlock stopped working, power windows were messed up, when I turned my headlights on the «passenger door open» message flashed… what a mess. My regular mechanic said he had no idea what was going on, and to take it to «an alarm place.»
Based on the reviews, I went to Krank it Up — and they were great. Got me all fixed up in half a day at a VERY reasonable price. I was bracing for an expensive repair — these guys did me right… The reviews are true!

I needed to get a set of KC lights installed and a local shop recommended these guys. I am very happy that they did. Very professional, affordable, and timely. The quality of the job was top notch.

I made an appointment with Krank it Up to have a remote starter installed. Prior to my current vehicle, 2014 Nissan Rogue Select, I have owned two other cars. The remote starters for these cars were done at separate locations. I heard about Krank it Up from a close friend. I spoke with Josh and he was very professional and easy to talk to. He not only was able to accommodate my schedule, but he also fit me in right away. As a young woman, making an appointment to have any kind of work done on my car can be intimidating. Josh was very happy to tell me about the remote starters that Krank it Up offered and how they worked. We talked about the Viper Remote Starter System, and he was very enthusiastic and happily answered my questions.
The staff behind the counter were all very welcoming and easy going… and funny! For the first time ever, having work done on my vehicle was not intimidating at all. My car was ready in a short amount of time and for a great price (lowest price I have paid for a remote starter). I had planned on taking the train somewhere while the vehicle was being worked on. I decided to stay because John and Josh made me feel very comfortable. They even asked if I was hungry and wanted lunch! When my car was ready to go, Josh walked me to my vehicle to explain how everything worked (super simple with this model), and made sure I understood everything. He told me to contact them at anytime if I ever have any questions. The remote starter is flawless and is a lifesaver in the winter!!!
When I found out that they tint windows and were able to make my rims black, I returned to have that done as well! My car not only looks beautiful but is also very very warm during these freezing winter days in Boston. I recommend Krank it Up to all my family and friends, and you will be more than satisfied with their work. They definitely exceeded my expectations. 7. Were tolerant with me when I kept shutting the car off and had to call. (embarrassingly I needed to turn the key first then hit the brake). He was so tolerant especially as it was before they opened, part of the instructions the day before and still nice!!!
8. The super cute fuzzy pup how jumped over the desk to say hello and gave me the biggest smile at the end of a long day.
I’d come here if I were a audio/​radio junkie or just needing a starter they were great and I’m completely satisfied!!!

Had a dealership break my aftermarket GPS after a routine oil change. After a month of trying to get them to try and fix what they broke, they told me that it was probably my system that was completely shot, and it was a coincidence.
I came to Krank It Up just to double check, and they not only worked me in within minutes, but fixed my GPS (they said it was a simple reset), without even trying to charge me, with great customer service and were incredibly gracious. I hadn’t even heard of this place before, and my GPS wasn’t installed there.
I will definitely bring them my business in the future — this is how a business should be run!

These people are super. I bought a car radio from them which, after 2 months, I decided I loathed. They let me trade it in for a different set, giving me full credit for my original purchase.

I got my Viper remote start and security system installed here and I am pretty satisfied with the service overall. I had a list of custom instructions given prior the installation, from the specific placement of the kit to the output sound variable and down to the wire soldering, and they were attentive to getting every one of them right. I had to wait until closing time just to get the install done but it was all worth it. The owner, Fawzi, was even generous enough to give me a discount because I waited a while. And he was really into it, checking all the works done for all customer vehicles making sure that everything is done right the first time, and we customers appreciate that. If I would be needing some more custom works done on my car, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit this shop again. Keep krankin’ it up guys, great job!

All in all, a positive experience, but room for improvement.
These guys are good, but they’re a couple steps away from great. I called and made an appointment, and they were able to fit me in two days later on a Saturday (which fit my schedule perfectly). The staff is friendly, and that’s a plus as well. Finally, the equipment they installed works as advertised. So far, so good.
Now for how they can improve:
When telling the service rep where I wanted my iPhone adapter cable, I said in the center, where there is already a hole and a cable coming out. This got translated into the center console, in between the seats, not in the center of the dashboard, where the previous cable was and where the iPhone mount was stuck in plain sight. This resulted in me having to string the cable from the dash down to the console, and getting tangled in it, knocking the phone out of its case when I attempted to shift, use the e-​brake, or adjust the stereo. The good news is that, one phone call and one visit later, they re-​fed the cable to the correct location and made it right. Suggestion: next time, ask the customer to SHOW you exactly where they would like the equipment interfaces to be exposed.
I had asked if they would call when the car was ready, but after several hours did not hear anything, so I called, asking when my car would be ready. The person on the phone said in about 30 minutes. I arrived about 45 minutes after the call, and waited nearly an hour after that. Not calling seems to be standard procedure for any auto-​related service company, so it’s a minor ding, and sadly, to be expected. Suggestion: If you’re running late, just say so.
Finally, two days ago, the adapter stopped working for no apparent reason. I called and they informed me that there was a rocker switch, which I easily found and turned back on (after I had accidentally turned it off), so good for a quick remedy, but something else that should have been addressed with better communication. Suggestion: Show the customer where you put the stuff you installed.

I wanted an auto car starter for my wife’s Town & Country minivan and made an appt. here because I drove by it frequently and it was convenient for me. Didn’t even read reviews here. As everybody says, great customer service. They gave me my options and I opted for the car start into my factory keys, which limited my range. They suggested I go with the separate remote to expand the range to about ¼ mile, but I didn’t want to have the extra remote.
They took my car and told me it would be a while, so I went next door for lunch. They do have wi-​fi, but there is only 5 seats to sit on in the waiting area. All work was done on time and worked great… but after a month, the wife wanted the starter with the remote for a longer range — just like Krank suggested.
I called and told them what I needed, the set up an appt. for me the next day and gave me a very cheap price to add the remote, even though they had to undo all the work they had done with the factory key. They know their stuff.
Already sent a couple of family members there for the same thing.
