Run, do not walk away from this salon. I made an appointment for my daughter to have makeup done for her prom. The salon called me at 10:30 am on the morning of the prom to cancel the appointment. They had no replacement and offered no way for my daughter to get her makeup done. What a poorly run business. If I could give 0 stars I most definitely would. I used to get my hair cut here but left because the stylists were nasty and catty. Now I remember why I left.

My mother usually does my waxing but since she was away on vacation I had to find a place which sucks because I’m pretty spoiled when it comes to getting any type of waxing, hair cut, makeup, or spa treatments. So, since this is a close place and I had been here once in high school, I decided to try it. The receptionist over the phone was quick and I hardly had any wait when I got there. I was really happy with the waxing! The salon and waxing room were very clean, everyone there was nice and I did not feel as though I was being judged. (Sometimes the salons out in Cherry Hill area can be a little too much with the arrogance and like the person said below the outfits, lol). This place was not judgmental and I was wearing yoga pants with sneakers. The girl who did my waxing was very professional! Her name is Abbey and I would recommend her to anyone! They use the same product that my mother uses after getting waxed which is finipil cream which always feels good after a wax and soothes the area nicely. The waxing was quick, clean, and didn’t hurt.

Still an outstanding establishment. Needed to have my eyebrows waxed and re-​shaped so I decided to leave it to the pros at Nadine Janet. I called around noon and was given a same-​day appointment with Marla at 2:30. She really took her time on me and explained the necessary upkeep and re-​shaping process really well. Waxing and tweezing were close to painless. Usually I have a small reaction to whatever lotion/​gels used after waxing, but they must use a higher-​quality product. No problems, even with my sensitive/​fair skin. I will definitely request Marla again.
Even when I come in wearing denim and a tee shirt (who gets dressed up to get their hair done?), I am always treated with respect and courtesy – like a queen. I look much younger than my age without makeup (which I wouldn’t wear when I’m about to have eyebrow wasing done) and I get the same outstanding treatment as the older ladies with designer hand bags getting multiple services done. I cannot recommend this place enough!
I would especially recommend Nadine Janet as a mother-​daughter salon. They seem to be really kind to kids. This is a great place for a young woman’s first visit to a real salon, especially if she’s nervous about a major hair style change.
I’m moving about 45 minutes away from this place but that won’t stop my repeat business.
