Rogue Klamath River Adventures

What a great trip! We did the half day on the rogue with 8 years olds and it was a blast! The guide made us feel safe and shared a few bad jokes. This will be definitely the most memorable thing we did on our Oregon trip! My son turned to his sister and said «That was not fun but super AWESOME!». The cherry on the top was the affordability of the trip for 6 of us. Take advantage of the check in offer while it lasts! Thank you Barbara and Yonn for being so accommodating to our schedule!

e. Two class 4 rapids and one class 3. Great guide with awesome stories and instructions (ask for Parker). Also ask to go «surfing.» Also delicious snacks at the end for a hard half day of rowing.

This family-​owned business certainly knows how to «Pamper the Camper.» Our family of four made a two day river trek with Matt as our guide and had a blast!
Flying in from Florida, we counted on RKRA to provide all the necessities for a true river adventure and they did not disappoint. From the proper protective headgear for use in their inflatable kayaks all the way to yummy pineapple upside down cake made on the camp stove (who knew you could do that?!), their team made sure that every little detail of our trip was perfect.

Booked a last minute half day white water rafting trip on the Rogue River. Our guide Charlie was great at making sure we all had a great time on the river. The two class four rapids were a blast and we felt safe the whole time. We took our two daughters age nine and eleven along with our sixteen year old son. We all had a blast and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a great time white water rafting.

Did a full day rafting on the Smith River with 5 of my buddies. Had an absolutely amazing time! Everything about the experience was great. One of the owners, Barb was very helpful in suggesting we do the Smith River at this time of year rather than the Rogue, which is what we had originally planned — turned out to be the warmest/​nicest day of the year there, so we definitely lucked out. She also suggested we camp at Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, which also was a phenomenal decision — an absolutley beautiful park/​campground. The rafting itself was like no other experience I’ve had (was my first time). They picked us up at our camp site and shuttled us to the launching area, completely outfitted us with everything we needed — wetsuits, helmets, booties, jackets, etc. Charlie was our guide and he did a great job teaching us as well as keeping us on our toes and having a rip roaring great adventure! Plan a trip with these guys and you won’t regret it!!!

I have to be honest, I thought the operation was a little sketchy at first. I have been on rafting trips with other companies, but never where I met at a location by a trailer on the river. I started to understand why the place gets away with only having a port-​a-​potty for a bathroom and a fold out table for a «store» that sells supplies. They pass their cost savings onto their customers. Instead of being transported in from Ashland, we were able to meet at the drop off point in Gold Hill. We met with our guide Charlie, who has clearly been down many a river and knows them well. He took my friend and I on a wonderful rafting adventure down the Rogue River and over a waterfall. Yes, I can now officially say that I have rafted a waterfall.
I would highly recommend this rafting company for anyone looking for an incredible rafting adventure in Southern Oregon. Besides we all know that rafting is way more fun than the silly Oregon Shakespeare Festival!
