Rustic Grille

We want to love this place as it is in town and has a large menu. However, we always end up leaving disappointed. Think this week was our last try. Wraps were dry and tasteless. Didn’t want chips with the wrap and was told there was no substitutions or anything else for an up-​charge. Child wanted mozzarella sticks… they were soggy and served over shredded lettuce, which was odd. Very disappointed in the taco salad. Service is always meh and our server this time clearly did not want to be working, be friendly or helpful. If you want a slice of pizza, go for it… other than that try somewhere else. Also… no children’s menu.

Asked for a dish and got items that I asked to be left out. I then got another dish and there was a hair in it. They did give $$ towards the meal tho. Will not be returning.

Rustic Grill has come along way in the last year. Prices have gone up by 30% on pizzas though! Service has been excellent, you see the same staff now. Portions are large, quality good. Great BYOB too. Love it for a quick family friendly Friday night dinner.

The food here is consistently good. Specials are delicious and reasonably priced. Service is efficient and speedy. .The specials include soup or salad, choice of garlic bread or plain rolls. Pizzas are excellent. Wraps are terrific.

I met my brother in law at the Rustic Grille for lunch and it was delicious. I had the steak cut onion rings and the Rustic Pork — roasted pork, roasted reds and sharp provolone — I also asked for the addition of long hots and it was not a problem. The service was great, the food was great — very large generous portions and as it was, I ate only half my sandwich there and the rest later that afternoon. Great place for lunch! I’ll be back!

The food is good. Service is awful. The waitress puts the silverware, napkins and drinks at the end of the table, and the customer has to distribute them. This is a restaurant. The attitudes need to change in there, I’ve never met a pleasant server at this place.

We love the food here… both eating in and take out. It’s consistently yummy. They have really great homemade (I think) soups and really great pasta dishes. My husband always gets the taco salad which he loves.
The kids get pizza which is always good.

I love, love, love the garden salad; it is always fresh. But what really makes the salad is the balsamic dressing. Sometimes I get a little tub of the dressing to go. The one thing that is just so sub par about Rustic is the service. Sometimes we get friendly waitresses, but most of the time we get little sourpuss snots who can’t even set the table for us. It kind of kills the mood when a table of 5 – 7 people have to coordinate and pass each other the napkins, silverware, straws, and drinks. We still go here about 1 – 3 times a month because the menu has good vegetarian options, but we really wish most of the servers were more professional and actually worthy of the 20% tips we always leave.

Around 1 pm on a Saturday, Mom and I were looking to grab lunch and quick. She suggested this place as we both have not been here.
Maybe 5 tables sat. 3 servers. Not busy. Huge menu selection. Our server came over, wasn’t very engaging. Took our order. The steak fries came out first. but the other server had them and delivered to the table in front of us. I saw. That chick said she didn’t order them so the server took them back. They waited a minute and then my server took them over to me. I was too hungry to care at this point.
Then the main meal comes out. Mom got a turkey cobb salad with bleu cheese. I ordered the Cuban Pork panini. Server came over with a salad and a wrap. Really? Twice now you’ve delivered wrong food/​wrong table. The servers were looking bored and still nothing came out smoothly.
And to be honest, I should have taken whatever that wrap was because the Cuban Pork was gross. Grayish looking pork that you couldn’t bite through! My mom looked at me and asked how it was and I just shook my head No. I was happy I got a side of fries because even the chips that came with the sando were stale.
Would I come back, nope.

Rustic is probably my favorite place to eat in Medford. Their Acapulco wrap is awesome. The white veggie pizza is to die for, the taco pizza is the absolute tastiest! The wait staff is always super friendly, despite the fact that I come with a one year old who repeatedly throws her food on the floor (we try and tip up to make up for it) the waitresses still smile and are very kind. The prices are great. Pretty much identical wrap at pop shop would run you $ 11 with no chips/​side. $ 7.95 here with chips. Can’t beat it!

Friendly staff, prompt service, good food, reasonable prices. Enjoy some of their specialties, especially enjoy their panini sandwiches. Menu is more extensive than we would have anticipated. The kids like the pizza and cheeseburgers but we go for the sandwiches.

like 7 years ago I remember eating this really bomb slice of bacon pizza from the Rustic Grille. Havent been back since but I’ll rate it 4 stars just for that.

Staff was not friendly. Place was dead. Food was not tasty.

I came in for a quick salad to go. I ordered the antipasto salad with bacon vinaigrette dressing. The salad was good, a pretty standard antipasto salad. I was surprised and impressed with the dressing. I had never had bacon vinaigrette dressing, and I will definitely be trying it again in the future. I half expected it to be thick and greasy, but it wasn’t. It had a solid bacon flavor without feeling like you just drenched a salad lard.
The service wasn’t great. The person I interacted with had a sneer every time we interacted.
I’ll try more soon enough.

Awesome lunch! Had buffalo chicken cheesesteak 4.4÷5, could only eat half, other person had the Medford Cobb salad, 3.5÷5. Asked manager for military discount, gave 20% off!!! Would highly recommend!

I give 3 stars for the food. Nothing really impressed me. But 5 stars would go towards the service they have there. All the girls are really friendly hardworking and took care of their tables well. I ordered the taco salad with no meat and cheese and asked to add in extra veggies in and it was no cost. But the salad tasted blah to me and I could def make something better at home. Standard American-​italian type of food nothing to hype over as from a vegetarian perspective at least. Their menu was very large and reminded
me of an upscale local pizza shop pretty much. Good place for a cheap eats!

Their chicken pastina is just like my Nanny’s. If you are feeling sick, go get some you will back in fighting shape in no time!
Their pizza is pretty good too, but just go down the road to Riviera for the best pizza in all of south jersey.
Great place for lunch or low key dinner and perfect for families with kids!
