Leave off my disdain for the TSA in general. My specific gripe with the Medford staff is inconsistency. I travel through MFR every other week. I carry two or three laptops for work, and it’s always a hassl to get through security because I get a different story each time. Every. Other. Week. I get expedited processing which means I don’t have to take off my shoes or go through the full-body scanner. I’m also able to skip taking out a laptop – however, the x-ray machine won’t scan through two or three. No surprise there. What’s infuriating is that I get hollered at, literally sometimes!, if I try to take laptops out to speed things up. I actually had one TSA person grab at my backpack to try and speed me along. If I leave laptops in my bag then I’m scolded for not taking them out. Maybe the TSA folks could let me know their equivalent of «Shibboleet!» or whatever their magic code word is. At a minimum, they should actually get their act together and communicate/train on procedures…
