Best coffeehouse in the area! Great prices, quaint old building well-​kept. New owner woman and her twin sis run it all week, super friendly young man and his wife made the fresh baked goods that morning! Wine and cheese nights each Wednesday till 7pm! Must stop coffee shop– will bring hubby or girlfriends next time! Took delightful huge muffins home for a treat!

Came here on vacation. Stopped to see my child hood friend who runs it. Sara is super friendly and has great customer service. I actually came here a couple times during the 5 day visit in Medford. The coffee is good and so was the hummus wrap. We forgot to take a selfie!

I enjoy coming here whenever I am in town. Great coffee selection with great service. I usually have lunch here with friends and their sandwiches are simple yet delicious. My favorite is the dill sandwich with ham and roast beef. Love the ambiance with artwork to eye and and outdoor back patio.

Great coffee from Alakef roasters out of Duluth, MN (probably my second favorite only to Alterra). But wait… there’s more!
A friendly, cozy atmosphere. Think farmhouse meets arthouse. Awesome home made muffins. Tasty sandwiches on fresh baked bread for about the same price point you’d encounter at a sub chain.
Oh, and they have occasional live music from regional and even national acts (generally bluesy or folky).

What is the purpose of living without a nice hot cup of ‘Good Morning America’ to start your day. While the ‘olé percolator in your average kitchen does the job, a coffeeshop is more about the experience. It’s like comparing McDonalds to a Steakhouse. Both of them will fill you up, but one is much more desirable. Uncommon Ground is certainly a more exciting place to draw yourself out of your morning grogginess. WiFi, relaxing music, soothing décor, and a friendly atmosphere. What more can a person ask for?
