the staff at bryn mawr running is great… super helpful and you can tell all of them actually run. my problem is the prices are freaking insane. i know this is a relatively small business, but that doesn’t give an excuse to charge customers out the ass for a pair of sneakers. i’m all for supporting the little guy and have no problem paying SLIGHTLY more at small businesses than online, but you can literally save $ 60/pair buying last season’s colors somewhere else.

I went inside to shop when I needed a new pair of running shoes and I wanted to get some expert advise. Came out with some smoking hot Nikes that honestly I don’t think I’m fast enough for! The staff was very available and helpful in helping me find my foot type which was neutral/normal pronation. I tried out different brands to get a feel for each and decided to go with the Nikes. The shoes were at a discount as they were the past season, When I compared online later, the store beat the prices as well. Shop is a bit small and they don’t have a ton of gear and accessories. I called in asking for 180’s wrap around ear warmers but they were unavailable. The shop is a great place to meet with other runners and on Thursdays at 6:15p, some locals meet here and go running together. All levels are welcomed so don’t be discouraged if you are not the fastest!

This place is my absolute favorite running store. The staff is so helpful and the store hasa great selection of high quality footwear and gear. I’ve been going to Bryn Mawr Running Co(the original in Bryn Mawr, and now the Media Branch) since I started running when I was 13, so I’ve now been a loyal customer for over 13 years. I come here whenever I visit the east coast(which is often) to stock up.

In quaint downtown Media resides this awesome shoe store. The staff were all very helpful and answered all my questions, even though I was a newbie that couldn’t pronounce«Saucony.» They even helped«diagnose» why I was getting blisters so much, and informed me that switching from cotton socks to a more technical sock that dries quicker might ameliorate my painful problem. At no time was I pressured into buying the absolutely most expensive shoe in the store. They even looked at how I walked to see if I had a fallen arch and everything. Seriously these guys rock.
