McDonald’s

Very slow at the drive through this morning. I waited two minutes (yes, I was timing it) at the order speaker before someone asked if I was ready to place an order. I was just about ready to drive off!

The service was slow. There must have been 8 people working there but something was not working. A kid before me waited 10 minutes for fries. After waiting almost 10 minutes I inquired about my order. The girl who took it was by the fryer and began to yell saying I told her she was waiting on fresh fries (Did she ??? I thought she said that to the kid waiting 10 minutes before me???) nonetheless I stated I wasn’t aware and she continued yelling causing a scene. I told her the whole restaurant heard her as her coworkers gathered around her all starring and get this at me. An older gentleman seemed to be the only one with any desired to quell the situation and he apologized. Meanwhile the worker is still yelling and then she says I hope her kids burn themselves on the fries??? WHAT??? I know fast food workers are upset about their wages but this girl did nothing for their cause. I don’t think I will ever go there again– oh and they said they couldn’t give me a receipt they ran out of register tape…

I used to go to this McDonald’s all the time, but not so much anymore… Getting older means trying to eat a bit healthier, ya’ know? Anyway, this one is convenient — located in front of the soon-​to-​be-​demolished Granite Run Mall. 9 times out of 10, I’ve had very good service here. No complaints.

It’s a McDonald’s. Seriously, if you’ve never even at a McDonald’s, I don’t know what to tell you.
What I will say is that it is a MUCH better experience sitting in the dining room and eating, over going to the drive thru. As a longtime resident of the Media area, I can’t count how many times I sat in an extremely. SLOW. DRIVE… THRU. Even if I was the only car in line, a simple trip through could take 7 – 8 minutes. When the food does come, the fries would usually be cold, or the order incorrect.
Dining in is usually quite pleasant in the bright dining room. If you need a Mickey D’s fix, and this place is your choice, be smart and take the extra 10 minutes to dine in here.

I drive by all the time on the way to work– I stop once or twice a month and always have a good experience.
The drive through staff is LOVELY. They clearly communicate and it always sounds like they’re following corporate chatter by offering me the lastest and greatest deal.
They’re fast and efficient when I’m on the road.
However– any time I dine in… it takes forrrreveerrrrr.
So– five stars for drive through, three for eat in.
