We had such a blast! My husband and I have done other escape the room’s before, and this room was much more challenging and much more fun! I would highly recommend this room with a group of your friends.

We had a ball at Xscape the Room! I attended with 4 other people and we escaped! It was really fun and a different way to spend a Saturday night. We were all pumped afterwards, we talked about it all night. I can’t wait to do another room!

We had a lot of fun! I can’t wait to go back when a new room is ready! We had a group of 9, who all knew each other, including two 13-year-olds. We didn’t escape, but I think we’ll do better next time, now that we have a better idea of how it works. We got off to a slow start; getting the first big breakthrough was difficult and complicated — or maybe we were just more clueless than most. The staff defintely helped nudge us along in the right direction. Once we started making progress, it became more clear how to approach the problem solving. I thought it would be a creepy setting, but there was more of an element of fear than I expected. Not truly scary, but everyone is different, and some people might not like that aspect. Most people in our group said they wouldn’t like doing this with strangers, but I liked it so much that I’d be willing to try if I couldn’t get a group together.

We’ve been talking about doing an escape room for at least a year, and this weekend we finally got together some friends to try one out in Media. I was completely unsure of what to expect, and was totally blown away by how much fun it was. This location is in what appears to be a psychologist’s office, converted from an old house. There’s an easel sign out front so you know you’re in the right place. During operating hours the door is unlocked and you can walk right in to the back room and take a seat. About 10 minutes before we were set to start the organizer/facilitator gave us a brief introduction, and then we headed down to the basement where the adventure began. We had a big group of 7, and an additional party of 3 joined us for a total of 10 — about 5 minutes in it was like we’d all known each other forever, working together to look for clues, solve riddles, and escape the basement. I spent the entire hour totally engrossed, and felt such a thrill when we finally escaped. The set up is really well done, and we even had fun rehashing and putting all the pieces together afterwards. Do yourself a favor and book an hour here ASAP!

This was such a fun activity! We did it with other couples. High school kids can do it with groups of friends as mine did. It’s also a great activity for a family to do together. The clues and puzzles are challenging and interesting. Teamwork is encourage and is helpful to escape! I would recommend this to everyone.
