Yummy! I had the salted caramel pretzel and Nutella flavors with hot fudge and both were amazing.

It’s impossible to get the yogurt to come out at any speed other than spilling-out-crazy-fast, increasing portion size to larger than desired. Smallest cup was way too large for children. Portion control is completely lacking.

I was my first time hanging around Media and My friend and I wanted to eat some frozen yogurt. The selection of frozen yogurt at this place is good and a good selection of toppings. I tried the nutella froyo which, per the owner, is made in house. It was tasty and the toppings I added to it made up a great combination. I was pleasantly surprised by the service as the owner was very welcoming and helpful. If I ever hang out around Media, I will definitely stop by again.

Yogurtissimo is Media’s answer to Serendipity in NYC. Let me explain… $ 16 for 2 cups of yogurt is to Media locals what the $ 1000 Golden Opulence Sundae is to New Yorkers. I don’t know what the hipsters who recently transplanted to Media are all about with the higher-star ratings, but I grew up in Media, and now live on the Mainline(which is supposed to cost more), and heck if I will rave 5 stars about an $ 8 cup of yogurt that came out of a bag of liquid in a machine. EW! Even Handel’s out here in Berwyn will give you a cone of HANDMADE ice cream or yogurt with AUTHENTICLOCALINGREDIENTS for half that price. Husband and I each had a cup of Yogurtissimo; his was okay but he compared it to TCBY, which is not a compliment. Mine was half from a batch of chocolate, that ran out on me, splattering liquid at the end, and half of a new batch of coconut flavor. The chocolate tasted like metal but the coconut was actually some of the best yogurt I ever had. I sprinkled some cookie bits as well. Was it worth $ 8 for a cup? No. I am at a loss to understand the yogurt craze(packed with sugar which is worse than fat in ice cream). We totally felt ripped off at Yogurtissimo. YUK!

Smaller than the usual froyo shop but all the requisite toppings are there and you can’t beat the location. They have marshmallow yogurt which I haven’t seen anywhere else — yummy. Owned by the Little Anthonys guys.

Attention yuppy-families — the Froyo craze has come to the ‘burbs!(Media, PA) Service — 5 stars. Yogurt and toppings — 4. My 8 year old and her friend(also 8) stopped in with me for fro-yo and while the place was packed to the point of ridiculousness on Wednesday night(Dining Under the Stars aka«Chaos out in the Heat») it was peaceful and empty at 7PM on Thursday. Do not come on Wednesdays in the summer. Come another night and oh — what a treat for the kiddies(and grown-ups who dig the froyo). 5 machines produce 10 flavors — that night 4 were non fat. The original tart — my litmus test for truly good froyo remains untried — but I did sample the coffee(non fat but who can tell?) and kiddo had Mango, peanut butter and one other(who can remember??). The other kid had marshmallow and cookies ‘n cream. Toppings abound including the usual suspects, fresh berries, COLD whipped cream and a canister of HOT fudge. 3 Ghiradelli sauces include White chocolate, dark chocolate and caramel. Pricey stuff when the kids get wild — we spent close to $ 12 for the 3 of us(And all I had was a «bowl o’ whip»). Brand-spankin’ new(opened about a month ago) includings a spotless restroom(YAY!) and cute hand painted Trompe-l’œil murals in progress. Owner is «Mike» from Little Anthony’s and allegedly an upstairs party-room(for pizza and froyo birthday bliss) is planned. A welcome addition to State Street, Media. WELLDONE!!! Please don’t let it slip in 6 or 12 or 18 months.
