Tri-County Snow Plowing

We hired these people to come plow for an entire season for us. Never pick up their phones. One phone is shut off and their website has been removed. I have the sons cell phone number where I have been contacting him. He plowed my drive twice (which in itself was like pulling teeth) and after this last snow storm, he hasn’t shown up since. I was able to contact him twice but he never showed. I’ve tried calling him again since but he won’t pick up. This company is a complete scam. Their ad says $ 250 for the whole season. I should have known. If it sounds too good to be true, then its probably too good to be true. Buyer beware!

We found out last time around January 9^th that this company sub-​contracted our driveway to another company. Luckily I spoke with the young man and explained to him we needed our driveway cleaned early as we drive our granddaughter to school. Not at 4PM. He said Pete –owner of Tri-​County – told him to come in the evening! Now… we are unable to reach any of the three phone numbers Pete gave us. So… we had to contact another company and pay them $ 40 to do our driveway as an emergency job! Why are people like this allowed to rip people off and never show up??? Now all the companies in my area are fully booked for the season, so we are left with having to find someone to help us on an emergency basis. SHAME ON TRI-​COUNTY FOR STEALING PEOPLE’S MONEY, NOT ANSWERING THEIR PHONES AND AT LEAST TRYING TO FULFILL THEIR OBLIGATIONS! HE TOLD US THAT HIS DAD AND SEVERAL BROTHERS WOULD BE ON THE ROAD, SO WE FELT THAT THEY WOULD BE RELIABLE. SAD SAD SAD!!! LIARS!!! We cannot even ask for our money back, as we cannot reach them!!!

BEWARE. I would NOT recommend this company! This company advertised in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Offered a $ 250 per season driving plowing special. I contacted them while in town to set up a contract for my elderly parents. I was given a price of $ 325 for a gravel driveway which included shoveling/​salting 2 very small walkways. I contacted them to set up a contract and was told that they would give me a call back in an hour. They weren’t sure if they had any routes left. I never received a call back. Left 2 voice mails. No return calls. Tried from a different phone number and the call was answered. As soon as I stated my name, the person hung up on me! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back from the same number. This time my call went to voice mail. Here is how this company advertises «Let the experts plow your driveway this winter and see the INTEGRITY difference!» Integrity? If this company thinks that the way they treated me was with integrity then they are don’t understand the meaning of this word. Unprofessional. You reap what you sow. When you treat customers or potential customers that way you won’t be in business for long. Give your business to someone else.
