This store is amazing. When you want to find high quality products and service, you come here. Everyone who works here does so for the love of animals and it shows in the care and concern for everything they do. Any problem that you have, you can discuss it with them and they can help you find answers or get you in touch with the right people who can.
Yes, it can be pricey but you are paying for only the best quality stuff. They won’t sell you junk that is bad for your pet. I get all of my Fromm food from here. This is something you won’t find in a chain store. Over there, most of the products are made at very low cost and usually in China. So if you want to give your pet something that could kill it, by all means, go to that chain store and save a few bucks. But when you care for your pet like you would care for your children, you come to a place like this one.

I would never bring my dog here. A friend told me they were mean to their dog while getting nails done. It is expensive.

My favorite pet store! I love having this nearby. Our dog loves to come in here, they are super friendly to him (and us!). Great selection of toys, food, and necessities, and they also do grooming – they were able to wash our dog and clip his nails right when we walked in on a weekend morning. Such great people working here. Our only complaint was that we tried to sign up for a puppy training class and couldn’t get the woman running it to call us back.

Love this place. Since Boycotting petsmart, I’ve had to find a new petstore. I usually go to the Westborough store, but I liked this store better bc it was larger and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

The staff here is really great. Friendly and helpful. I get the feeling they are actual friends with almost every person who shops here and though, that isn’t usually my thing, they make me feel like I am too. I also feel they are always trying to help out with my cat. For instance my cat was having a problem with diarrhea and the staff member told me about a little known thing that can cause it. My vet didn’t mention it. I had my cat tested and though he didn’t have it I appreciated her assistance. It very well could have been it. There is only one small drawback for me. The place isn’t really big enough. Some of what I like to buy isn’t in stock when I go and I am never sure what I am going for will be there.

My cat is going to be 21 years old this year. Over the past few routine vet visits, my vet checked the size of her kidneys. Each time, he noted how small they were getting. This last visit he said he couldn’t find one of them and the other was very small. He said that we should expect to see vomiting every week or two because her kidneys are not longer able to keep up with their job and toxins will build up in her body. Sure enough, she was pretty much vomiting every 5 – 7 days.
I decided to visit Especially for Pets and see if they had any food that would be easier for her to tolerate. Thankfully, the owner had researched this. She said that it might help to get her on food that was low in phosphorus. She was able to point me to the best brand.
She took it a step further. She suggested that I grind up dry food and add broth and mix in with the canned food to provide carbs. Well.. . my little girl is no longer vomiting and she actually scampers around the house to get my attention. She hasn’t scampered in many many months! I am so thankful to have a pet store owner who cares so much for animals.

The worst grooming my dog has ever got. He’s a labradoodle and whoever groomed him should be fired. I was out of the country and my husband picked him up and sent me photos, I was horrified, he looks like they cut his hair with a knife and fork and not grooming tools. He had a little matting under his armpits but not enough to deserve the brutal haircut he got. Please go somewhere else, this place is terrible.

Emily groomed my dog today and I don’t think he’s ever looked better! He’s a 10 year old nervous type shih tzu-​cross with long crazy hair. When I picked him up he wasn’t too stressed and looked adorable with his puppy cut. I cannot believe how nicely she was able to shape his face and legs. Will definitely return. Plan on booking way ahead of time if you need a weekend appointment. I was able to get a Friday within the week.

I have gone here ever since I have gotten my dog 3 years ago. I absolutely love this place, and have become friends with a lot of the people who work there. Their knowledge on foods, training and behavior is unmatched at any pet store. They offer a huge range of holistic dog foods and treats that my dog absolutely loves. They also offer a good range of training classes for your dog. The staff at this store goes way above and beyond to you no matter what you need. There staff are all animal lovers, and you will often find their dogs hanging out at the store with them while they work. It is a great place to bring your dog shopping, and meet other dogs. They also do a lot in this store to support local animal charities, it just makes you feel good to shop here, at a place where they really care!

My favorite pet store… and it’s right around the corner. We have 2 cats and buy all our cat food there — they carry a wide range of quality pet foods. They’re very helpful with choosing the right products. Convenient hours too.

I brought my cat to get her nails trimmed, and it is a general donation that they request, which is only $ 7. Even the vet charges more than that. Only thing, they only do it on certain days, so call ahead.

They didn’t have what we were looking for today (an airline approved in-​cabin carry on for my Dachshund) but the staff was great, called around to the other stores, and even went online and did a general search.
Apparently, the longest carry on «approved» carrier is 20″ (max) and with my dog being 25″ (at least) we ended up S.O.L. Had to buy him a much bigger crate, and he’s gonna travel with the cargo. Lord help me, I’m gonna need a valium for this trip!
They also have Jack’s favorite all-​natural dog treats, the ingredients are literally peanut butter, egg, molasses, unbleached flour & parsely. A little pricier, but worth it…

My yorkie is an especially picky eater. One day I decided to go into the store in hopes of finding something special and yummy for him. And, this place is soo great. The staff there is soo nice and extremely helpful.
One tall woman asked me if I needed help, I told her my situation. She said they could order just about any dog food I wanted, then she gave me a BAG FULL of free samples.

Wow. that was great.
They also have obedience school and grooming (I haven’t tried either, but I look forward to). And you can bring you leashed dog in to look around.
I’m definitely a fan, and go there often.

I love this place, most especially the staff and especially Jennifer.
She always, always remembers me and my dog.
The whole staff was really helpful in training, tips and tricks… They are never grumpy, always sincere and kind.
