For a place thats not busy on beachside during spring break, I’d like to think they would offer polite service. Our first and last visit from this local.

Not bad and a convenient place to grab some ice cream without having to drive all the way into Melbourne. Cash only. Probably not homemade soft serve, but it served its purpose(see what I did there? :)) The soft serve is more cream-flavored than vanilla-flavored. That said it’s not very flavorful. Topping or chocolate dip might be good for your cone because of the blandness. We also had a blizzard-style snack with peanut butter cups blended in. Better than the plain cone. Wasn’t wowed but it is convenient south of Melbourne on A1A. Of note, it’s a walk up window. Just a little seating available outside.

Stopped by here on the way back from Sebastian Inlet. The thought of ice cream on a hot summer day was just way too tempting to pass on. This is a small place with little outdoor tables. It’s counter service– you walk up and order your item at the window. I ordered a soft serve ice cream. I got the soft serve swirl(vanilla/chocolate) — it as basic. I’m not sure what it was, but I remember feeling slightly disappointed. We also ordered a frozen chocolate covered banana– now that was good and something I’d never had before. This quaint little ice cream stop is perfect for grabbing some sweet treats on the way to or from the beach. I believe they only take cash, but don’t quote me!

This sweet little ice cream stand is conveniently located just across from the beach which comes in very handy after an afternoon of splash in the waves and laying around in the hot sand. Housed in an older-style cinder-block building it reminds me of many other ice cream stands near the beach that I have seen along the coast line. They have the usual vanilla and chocolate, plus the swirl option(my personal favorite). They have several styles of cones and cups, but I love how they sell the cone as a ‘Eco-friendly’ option because you get to eat the container… love that! They also have a blizzard type ice cream mashed up with your favorite topping they call a Brrrr-icane. Next time I am in the area I will be happy as a 5-year-old to go back and get a swirl in an edible ‘container’.
