Headed there for breakfast yesterday, and called ahead to see how busy it was, since it was Easter. She said they had been busy but there was a slight lull. We had a big group(11) so i was concerned. When we got there they had a table set up for us. The wait staff was very attentive and the food fantastic. I’m surprised another reviewer had a bad experience because in the half dozen times I’ve been there, I’ve found the staff very friendly and the food delish. Had blueberry pancakes yesterday with their homemade whipped cream. The one negative is they are not quick(not slow, just not fast), but everything is made to order and the menu warns you to be patient so I’m not zinging them in my rating.

We were going to try this place. We just got in late to our campground and wanted to take the kids to get something to eat. It was 8:15 and they close at 9. My wife walked in and was going to be seated by the hostess(there was an open table) when another waitress(?) said, «no, no more people, we are going to be here until 10 as it is. «By this time it was 8:15. My wife said we are just trying to feed the kids and she told us there was a Burger King 7 miles up the road. I guess that is comparable food? I had always read reviews like this, but thought people were exaggerating, until it happened to me. Needless to say, we went to Jakes crab shack up the road. Food was great and service was awesome. Drive right past this place.

Had a late lunch here with a friend last Friday. We arrived about an hour before they closed. Rainy days have probably killed them lately, but service was fairly friendly, regardless. I ordered the daily fish, Mahi, grilled on a kaiser roll, lettuce tomato and onion all were crisp and fresh. The fish was fresh and delicious. My friend had the same fish, but blackened and served atop one of the finest salads I’ve seen in a diner type establishment such as this. It had the usual lettuce and other salad vegetables, but the lightly steamed asparagus spears were a special touch. Two men walked through the door as we were finishing our meal, and it was about three minutes until they were due to close. When the server greeted them, she told them this right away, but the kitchen did make their food and it was presented to them to go. Take that how you will, at least they got to eat. The fish dip from the attached general store(this café and general store are just outside the Long Point Campground, where I have camped, and eaten the fish dip) is phenomenal.

Had Breakfast at this place this morning. We were camping at Sebastian Inlet State Park about 1 mile south of the restaurant. We had blueberry pancakes and bacon and cheese omelette. The grits and homemade grilled biscuits are awesome. This place is a restaurant/bait shop. The bait shop is separate and stocks many convenience store items. A cool place if you’re camping nearby.

The Long Point Café brings drop ceiling dining to a sparse stretch of the Treasure Coast’s A1A. This dinette fills a hole; the adjacent tackle shop will fill your fish’s. The children’s menu is cut and pasted(with local font applied) from any other roadside grill, but my five-year-old’s palate is not very discriminating. She went with the chicken fingers and fries. My mother, however, found the quesadilla’s cheese«too spicy» and avoided the onions and jalapeños that accompanied it. Seeking local flavor, I found none in the grouper sandwich special. The total bill(with waters all around) was $ 31, including tip. The service was prompt and perfunctory. Thanks for the styrofoam to-go box for the chicken fingers! I’ll skip the gift shop corner, though – nothing much to remember here.

Ate there this am with my wife and son. I had corned beef omelete. My wife had veggie fritata and my son had waffle with fruit. We all enjoyed and finished our meals. The place was muggy and hot when we walked in. I asked if the a/c was broke and the server told us no it was not. During our meal my wife noticed a sign taped to the thermostat saying Keep On 77 do not touch. ooof We were most bothered by the music and the heat of the café. All and all everything was good food wise and price. Nice to know food is made to order. We will be back but may sit outside next time or order gaspacho. lol

We visit this café lots and have never had a bad meal. It’s immaculately clean and the food is great. They do an awesome fish Benedict for breakfast which is to die for. The food is always fresh and the service is excellent. It’s family run and they really take care of you. Everything on the menu is great. You won’t be disappointed.
