Again, disappointed with customer service. Ordered a Pumpkin Pie blizzard. Received said P.P. blizzard (haha) without the whipped cream with the little sprinkles on it. When I inquired why the P.P.B didn’t have the creamy topping, I was told «99% of my customers don’t want the whipped cream» Total hyperbole if you ask me. Make the blizzard like the picture. If I don’t want it, I’ll ask you to please refrain from using whatever I don’t want on it. Just saying. And I get the feeling they don’t want to be there, especially half hour before they close. Hot Eats, Cold Shoulder. Sucks they’re the closest one.

Past reviews are correct about the location closing early.
Unilocal showed the location open until 10:30 PM but the front door showed 10 PM for Fri and Sat. We attempted to call at 9 PM to confirm but no one answered. Arrived at 9:50 PM on Sat night to the drive-thru and front signage turned off but the OPEN light on the the window on. An employee came out to throw out trash at 9:55 PM and only advised the location was closed when asked.
Add this to the sometimes rude service in the drive-thru and why does anyone bother with Dairy Queen at all in Suntree /Viera? The one in Merritt Island might be cash only but at least everyone has always been courteous and the location is open when it says it is.
If you’re in Viera, stick with Redberry Frozen Yogurt or Cold Stone Creamery in The Avenues.

This place is TERRIBLE! If I could give «0» stars I would, but Unilocal doesn’t give you that option, First of all they NEVER answer the phone. I called three days in a row, three times in a row, between 6−8pm and no one answered. I went there this evening (Saturday night) at 9pm and all of the chairs inside were put up and a kid was mopping. They don’t even close until 1030pm. I told the girl in the drive through about my attempt to call the store and she said «we don’t answer when we’re busy.» That is a sorry excuse, it’s called MULTITASKING. I’ve been here a handful of times and there are always teenagers working. The owner/manager or who ever is in charge needs to step it up. The customer service is the worst. I’ll also be writing to cooperate as well.

This Dairy Queen is very inconsistent with their hours of operation. Visited last night when closing time was 9:00pm and they shut their drive thru sign off at 8:57 with two cars in drive thru. Visited another night when they stayed open until 10:00 and they shut down at 9:45. I understand having a cutoff so you can send your employees home but when you have customers wanting to purchase your product 3 minutes before closing and you turn them away it doesn’t seem like smart business practice. I refuse to travel there again and waste gas only to find out they decided to close early.

Nothing special but no complaints either. They recently renovated inside and outside so it looks fresh and clean. The chocolate chip cookie dough Blizzard is great. I also love that they have mini Blizzards because the others are like an extra, extra large cup of regular ice cream. You can’t even go wrong with just a cup or cone of soft serve chocolate plain of with a topping like crushed chocolate peanut butter cups, crushed Oreo, or chocolate sprinkles. Probably the best part about this place is if you’re feeling especially lazy you don’t even have to get out of the car and just do the drive-thru.
