I have only been here once. It was great, great, great. I had a mixed berry pie of some sort, the small one, it was the best I’ve had in 30 years since the«Pie Pan» in Chicago on Cicero Ave. near Skokie. All of her pies look tremendous. I am just glad I don’t live close, or I would go every day for a small pie of some sort. I can’t wait to try the coconut custard. The best around!!!

Joan’s changed my opinion of cream pies for the better. The chocolate cream pie and the java pie are my favorite. I do not enjoy the apple pie much personally and I usually love apple pie. It’s a small business and I advice calling ahead to see what they have. If you call in the morning, you can order a pie and have it by afternoon which is pretty awesome.

The pies are delightful. I’m not a fan of key lime pie normally, but their pie makes me a fan.

went there yesterday at 11 am and figured I’d give it a try and they told me they had no pies for sale and they had to be pre-ordered. there were 2 people in line who were told same thing. wow the busiest pie day of the year maybe you should make some extra pies, lady wasn’t helpful won’t be back again

Thank you for making the most delicious pies I have ever tasted and more importantly, making them in small pie options so I don’t end up eating an entire 9 inch pie all by myself. The other day I had the pecan, and coconut. Tonight I had the chocolate cream. You can taste the freshness, and probably more important the love that goes into these pies. You have gone above and beyond my wildest expectations. You are officially the only place I will ever buy dessert. Also, the fact you are a small business makes my heart happy.

I travel a lot and try deserts all over. I also live near Ikeda’s(look it up) which has been called out nationally as one of the best pie shops. They have a competitor Machado’s nearby who i think is even better. This said, Joan’s are darn good pie’s especially the salted caramel and cream pies. The fruit pies do not hold up to national greatness(Sorry Joan). The service could be friendlier and they could serve a decent cup of coffee(get a Kureg if need be). Worth the trip if you live in the central Florida area.

Our office was sickened THREE separate times from her pies over the last 1 – 2 years. She was rude when we called to just let her know that maybe something was off. The pies were gifts from other businesses. I wouldn’t feed one of her overpriced pies to the buzzards. No thanks.

Wow this place was amazing. Very friendly. I had the coconut cream pie and it was heaven. Loved that all the recipes were out and the pies were just made. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

If you’re looking for freshly baked Pies, you’ve come to the right place! The place is small but they are cooking up delicious pies inside. As I entered, I was immediately greeted and service was top notch. I was offered free coffee and I accepted even though I am not a coffee drinker. I ordered a medium sized Slated Caramel Chocolate Pecan Pie and despite the plain look of the pie, what you get is total bliss. The top is made up of a fresh pecans covered in gooey caramel that oozes down as you begin to cut into it. Next comes the generous chocolate layer which is rich but not overpowering. The flakey crust seals the deal on a perfect slice of heaven. I also ordered a small Chocolate Cream Pie and it did not disappoint. The top is covered in chocolate chip cream, then comes the rich chocolate filling which makes this the perfect ending to any meal. I look forward to trying the fruit pies next time I’m in Melbourne. The store is walking distance from the inlet and about 5 minutes from the beach.

We went looking for pie on Pi Day and this place did not disappoint. It’s important to note that Joan’s Perfect Pie and the Sweetie Pie Baking Company is the same store. We got a small coconut cream pie to share(perfect size for two people). There are some tables out front where you can sit and eat, but the inside of the store is meant to bake and sell pies. Most people stopping by were picking up pies to go. Overall, totally worth the stop but get there early for the best pie selection.
