I appreciate her honesty. I had several things I wanted repaired/​altered, and she gave me exact estimates for all of them.
I desperately wanted two specific items of clothing shortened significantly. After I tried them on and she had a chance to examine them, she openly told me she could not do it without ruining the garments. I didn’t exactly get what she was saying, so she showed me with pins, and I realized I couldn’t get in or out of the garments.
Also, a flat sheet I brought in had several tears. I fixed one at home, but it looked like bad surgery. Her first response was to turn it into rags (brutal but probably true). However, they were a wedding gift and have sentimental value.
She gave me an estimate on fixing the other rips, but told me what I had already done was sufficient. Although rough looking, she promised that my technique had accomplished what was necessary to make the sheet serviceable. She didn’t decline the job completely, but she forthrightly let me know I could save the money if I chose to.
So on my first visit, her integrity saved me a lot of money on something I could do at home, and on two things that couldn’t be done at all. I ended up not leaving her anything to be repaired, but I am absolutely sold on her integrity and ethics.
Parking is very limited and rather awkward.

Great local tailor and prices are reasonable. Usually can pick up within 2 – 3 days. The staff here is very friendly and always does their best to make you happy.
