Lie-Ying Periu, DMD

These days is it very hard to find a healthcare provider that you can trust. Dr. Periu is absolutely wonderful! As is her staff. My entire family has been seeing her for last three years. She is kind and genuinely cares about her patients. She puts their needs above everything else. She takes the time to explain everything in detail and gives you options for your treatments.
I will never forget how scared and nervous my 6 year old daughter was about getting her fillings done. Dr. Periu and her staff went out of their way to make her feel safe and comfortable. For a mother this is priceless.
Without any reservation, I highly recommend her.

Dr. Periu is an extremely nice, caring dentist that takes her time, makes sure the job is done right, and is as gentle as possible.
I’ve had several hours worth of work since becoming a patient:
— a cleaning, checkup, xrays
— a few fillings
— a crown
My first visit for the cleaning and checkup took a while, and I’ve never had a dentist spend this much time with me. In a way, I wish she only spent 3 mins like my former dentist — this way maybe she would have missed some cavities: P
She took the time to explain things, showed me with a mirror all the trouble areas, etc.
I’ve never felt rushed, nor have I felt like I was being sold a «treatment plan» that turns out to be an electronic toothbrush and some overpriced mouthwash.
The only possible downside, is that she does take her time, so if you are used to being rushed in and out like I was, you will have to get used to spending a little more time at the dentist.
Her staff is professional and friendly, an even helped steer me onto a good discount plan.
