Magic Mops Cleaning

The goal of a review should NOT be to beat someone or a company up, but to identify the problems/​concerns you had.
This companies rating were pretty good– we are looking for someone to clean our house every week– so we thought we give them a try and they had a cleaning deal through Amazon Local. When I booked the cleaning I was told that they would be at my house on Friday at 1… Friday at 1:20 the owner called me stating a cleaner had a family issue causing a ripple in their day and they would need to reschedule. I was sad… now we have to clean… but she said she could reschedule. I said ok– what do you have available and she said well, oh– i’m not sitting in front of my computer i’m at lunch… ummm, that’s not very professional of you. So, she called me back and assured me she would have someone right out Tuesday (Monday a holiday) at 9:00 to handle for me.
I am usually in the office by 745, but I stayed home this morning to meet the cleaners for first visit and find out what they typically do to ensure my expectations when I come home were realistic. 915… still no cleaning folks. then I get a call… the owner, again… ironically someone’s care won’t start and they just found out.
My review cannot comment on their cleaning ability, but I can tell you that on professionalism and punctuality– it is a total F.

I am sorry vendor for posting a negative review– maybe you had a great response to your coupon on Amazon and got overwhelmed– but I lost a hour and 40 minutes productivity this morning and still have a dirty house– but at least my staff were on time.

I always feel bad when I have to leave a bad review but I feel even worse when I feel ripped off. So if I can save someone from that fate so be it. I bought a deal chicken deal for this company. The deal was five hours of cleaning for $ 109, I was very pleased. I love the deal sites for finding new companies to use for all sorts of things. So I called and made an appointment, I was going to be out of town for surgery. However my mother was house sitting so I thought Perfect! I was not happy or pleased at all when I got home just two days later. They told me to write up a list that I wanted completed. It’s like they didn’t read it at all. I’m pretty sure the cleaner just feather dusted the whole house plus decided on her own to launder my towels, which she did incorrectly. Now I’m sorry but when I hire a cleaning company I’m expecting they are going to scrub, buff and get sweaty! So I emailed the owner with my disgust of the work done. He called me back and said he would send another girl out and she wouldn’t leave until I was happy. I said great! My husband called to schedule the time and at that time their very rude office manager let him know, no that deal is only a promotional cleaning. That doesn’t include deep cleaning so everything was ok but they couldn’t dust the blinds. Ok whatever even though you are not saying the same as the owner but whatever lets get this done. So they come again, and well at least this time the mirrors were cleaned and most things were dusted. Apparently cleaning all of the faucets at the sinks was deep cleaning, they were left so dirty. Also cleaning the glass on my dining table was apparently deep cleaning. Cleaning the master bedroom shower was deep cleaning. There is no way this company spent five hours cleaning my home. Now I know it was a deal chicken deal but the company doesn’t understand what that’s all about apparently. That’s fine if that’s all you want to clean but I deserve money back then because I did not receive a 5 hour house cleaning, at the most 2 hours. Also it showed the value of the deal at $ 225. If I had paid that amount I would have called the cops because they basically stole from me. I have used other cleaning companies and individuals and they all put this company to shame!!! So BUYER BEWARE if you want to spend the same amount but have someone just feather dust your home and smoke cigarettes the rest time call MAGIC MOPS!!!

I recently had Magic Mops come clean my house after seeing them advertised on a discount site. I’m typically very skeptical with cleaning companies or letting anyone in my house to walk around unsupervised. I’m glad that I gave them a chance. The girl who came to clean my house was very nice, she did an excellent job, was on time, and very professional. I plan to have them clean my house on a regular basis now. I’ve used other companies, and had to have them come out to re-​clean after the cleaning crew left. This time, my husband came home and was really impressed what a good job that one girl could do in 5 hours. I would highly recommend Magic Mops!
