Melbourne Shuttle & Taxi Cab Service

If I could give this company a zero I would. Upon arrival I called them (at 5:17 pm per my phone records) and spoke to Nadia. She said pick up your luggage, your driver will be at the airport in 15 minutes. I picked up my luggage and after 19 minutes, I called back at 5:36 per my phone records, and Nadia said the driver would be there in 20 minutes. Since this call lasted for only 23 seconds, it appeared to me that she had hung up on me because I was in the middle of asking her what the problem was and if I was waiting at the right location. I called back at 5:46 (again per my phone records) and got voice mail! At 5:47, another cab company (Call-​A-​Cab) called my cell and told me that the shuttle service couldn’t get a driver, so he was going to pick me up at the taxi stand. Shouldn’t Nadia have informed me of this? After all this time, (call a cab arrived at the airport around 6:15 pm) I got a ride, but not from Melbourne Shuttle. To top it all, the cabbie said the ride was prepaid, so to my surprise, the credit card used to secure the reservation for the ride got billed by both Melbourne Shuttle and Call-​A-​Cab!!! And we have the credit card records to prove that we’ve been charged by both companies for the same service! By the way, Call-​A-​Cab only charged $ 85. After investigation, the credit card company refunded the $ 114 that was charged by Melbourne Shuttle.
Please see Melbourne Shuttle’s responses to the reviews below just so you know what sort of customer service you should expect from them. I’ve edited this review with more detail for greater accuracy in response to the threats of legal action. Needless to say, I I’ll never use Melbourne Shuttle.
Edit ⁸⁄₃ I continue to be harrassed by this woman. She has left messages on my cell phone, my mothers home phone and a private message here on Unilocal,she has also texted me on my personal phone all of which she has called me a liar and threatened legal action. I have proof my mothers credit card was charged, that the charges were disputed, investigated by American Express, and a credit given by them after the conclusion of their investigation.

Used them twice now, both times same driver polite and light conversation. Fair seems reasonable only going to or from the airport. Would use again based on price and holding true to appointment time being kept.
